It was ok, idea was good

I live down the road and ordered 2 jars of their award winning honey online for collection. My family then got sick and I forgot all about my collection. They called me and kindly dropped it off for me. 5 star service and great honey!

While there was an issue with my order, they resolved it promptly and went out of their way to make sure I was happy with the outcome, so a definite five stars for customer service.

My children were really looking forward to this visit, on a farm where we could potentially look at animals after visiting Santa. The Santa experience was a bit of a let down for us. It has the potential to be amazing, it was just lacking a bit of enthusiasm or attention from staff. The ice was thawing so the table where the children were to write a lovely letter, was wet, and continually getting wet, so it would have been helpful for a wipe over every now and then so letters weren’t getting ruined. We then had to take the sodden letters to Santa, who was very kind, but subdued, and struggled to keep the attention of my children. The elf needed to assist a-bit more and be more upbeat and get involved with the children, but she looked young and as if she needed a bit of guidance. There was no excitement or enthusiasm around which lost the magic for everyone involved. The children all left with a party bag, which wasn’t age appropriate for my 1yr old, and again lost the magic as there was no gift to open, and it wasn’t very individual to each age/sex of a child. However, The props left out, the backdrop, and snowballs made for great photos and a muck about. I actually left feeling bad for the children, and bad for the other parents passing us to go for the experience. It could have been so much better with a little more excitement / involvement from staff.

Logs were delivered within a day of being ordered, I received a text the night before, and they arrived on time. Driver was friendly and very helpful. Logs are good quality and dry. Would highly recommend.

The only point I would make is that the logs are sold as cubic tonnes, whereas most other places sell them in cubic metres, so it's hard to compare. We weren't entirely sure exactly how many logs we were going to get. It turns out the cubic tonne was equivalent to an overflowing builders bag

My sons loved the morning here! They were involved with hands on feeding of all the animals straight away.Sue was very trusting and encouraging with them,teaching them as they went.My 3 year old was full of wonder having hens by his side as he fed them and he loved feeding the rabbits too.My eldest loved throwing food in for the pigs! It was a very hands on experience,well led and felt we were in safe hands.will definitely be booking to come back!

What a great place!! Kids loved feeding the animals!! Great place for Halloween too, picking and painting pumpkins!! Will certainly visit again!!

Great farm, a good variety of animals we attended the halloween day and my daughter loved it! Really reasonable price for the activities and pumpkins too.

Great quality logs, great comms and Mark is always really friendly. We wouldn't get our logs from anywhere else!

We had to send a reminder email as the first delivery date went by but they were v apologetic and arrived promptly later and were really friendly and helpful. The small logs are perfect for our burner too. I’d def recommend.
