Absolutely Appalling Customer Service
I have had issues getting a loan from these guys for well over a month now. The first issue was the system automatically approving loans which i dont see the problem with as i was already approved for the amount the syatem automatically approved but then i was locked out of my account until it was fixed and that took 3 weeks to fix now theres another issue with the system not proceeding past the 'loading your application' stage. It is very frustrating especially if you are in desperate need for emergencies. I have made a complaint to the fscl and will continue until this company decides to start look after its customers. Whats wrong with applying over the phone and sending details through email or something?

I have been dealing with Ferratum for a while now and have found their level of service to be extremely poor, they do not like to answer questions when you speak to them and will fob you off with "all applications are automaticly computer vetted so if something is wrong they can not tell you as the computer scoring system can not tell them why" I find this to be nothing more than a cowards way of not answering a reasonable question or providing people with relevant information when requested. There website is incredibly slow, it keeps loading and your account which is supposed show all information usually only shows your name and address details and not anything about your application details and ongoing application process.
IF YOU NEED TO BORROW MONEY I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT USE FERRATUM. THEY DO NOT LOOK AFTER LONG TERM CUSTOMERS, THEY HAVE NO SENSE OF LOYALTY TO THEIR CUSTOMERS AND THEIR ONLINE APPLICATION PROCESS IS INCREDIBLY POOR COMPARED WITH OTHER LOAN PROVIDERS. I WOULD STRONGLY URGE YOU TO LOOK AT OTHER PROVIDERS WHO TREAT THEIR LONG TERM CUSTOMERS WITH THE RESPECT AND DIGNITY THAT THEY DESERVE, AFTER ALL OUR LOANS ARE GENERATING HUGE PROFITS TO THESE ORGANIZATIONS AND AS SUCH THEY NEED TO PROVIDE BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE

Cant use an expired passport. Or an 18+ card and other identification. Or atleast cant confirm my identity manually by sending 18+ card, birth certificate etc. Has to be electronically. Stupid what happend to letting actual people do the work instead of a system?

The Commerce Commission has launched High Court proceedings against payday lender Ferratum which it says charged borrowers 183 percent in interest.
"The commission hopes a judge will order some of the customers' loans to be reopened.
It said the company failed to help borrowers reach informed decisions about the loans, allegedly using pressure selling tactics and oppressive terms.
Ferratum failed to exercise reasonable care in its advertisements, it said."

I faxed through my bank Statement and …
I faxed through my bank Statement and waited a cuple of hours before I rang back and asked how the application was getting on and they had misplaced my faxed bank statement so I had to ring the bank to send another statement through. Took a few hours before I received the money as I was bnz account.
