What a total shambles, after waiting a whole day only to be informed that my panels would not be delivered and this after receiving an email only that morning confirming the delivery day. Then being informed that the next scheduled day would be in 12 days time. Cancelled the order and when to Wickes, delivered in two days. Wel they maybe a little cheaper but my advice is go elsewhere.

This summer house comes in many parts to make all of it fit on a standard pallet to make it cheaper to ship, if I'd of known this I would not of purchased it! The front consists of 4 panels the sides have 3 panels each the back has 2 panels the floor has 2 panels which I had to trim the over lapping boards so I could put them together.
The roof is made up of 3 sheets of OSB which in my opinion are way to thin!
After my installer had put this together he told me it's way to flimsy also he noticed the doors where badly warped and said he wouldn't continue with the build and recommend I return it for full refund. At the time I decided to go with his professional advice and contacted the shed store who past it onto Forest Garden.co.uk who passed it onto Fencing Direct.co.uk whom my credit card payment was made to.
Eventually they got back to me and said they would replace the doors and send me new ones also my installer said if I was keeping it I should ask for money back to pay for plywood to line the inside to strengthen up the summer house as it was so wobbly which they agreed and have me £60 towards this.

When I got the doors delivered from a courier they were shrink wrapped and when I opened it they were damp inside but straight so I decided to leave them flat on the floor under shelter for a month to dry fully but I noticed they started curling up badly.
My installer told me in his professional opinion both sets of doors have been made of green wood that's why they twisted and warped.
My installer didn't want any part of continuing with the build so I took it on myself to do it myself
After I finished the whole summer house the doors where horrendous
The 2 doors where nearly 10mm narrower at the top than they where at the bottom therefore the weather strips where not wde enough to cover the gap also the turn button for the top did not reach across because of the horrendous gap also one door was sticking out at the top by 6 inches and the other way going the opposite way at the bottom.
There where many other problems two of the plexiglass window where too big I had to cut off 5mm from each one to make them fit I had to make small panels to fill in on the lower part of the top edge of the two side panels as there were big gaps also many other smaller problems, so at this point I wished I'd of taken notice of my installer and not went ahead myself.

So I contacted the shed store to ask for compensation if not a full refund.

They again offered £60 compensation, initially they offered £40, which I refused.
Update 11/4/25
We have had a very dry period and I just noticed a lot of the boards on the outside have dried fully and shrunk the no longer over lap in many places with many gaps between the boards I'm extremely disappointed with this summer house.
I don't recommend this to anyone stay well away from purchasing one of these

Ordered 2 6 X £ foot trellises on 30th March under order confirmation BFD9000127162, was told they would be delivered
4th April. Nothing arrived.
4th April contacted them. Was told that they had been delivered (they hadn't)
9th April - contacted them again, told will be in contact soon with update.
20th April contacted them again, told delivery booked for 30th April
30th April contacted them at 15.09 as delivery had not arrived, told they had contacted delivery team for ETA update - heard nothing further.
1st May contacted them to ask for refund
2nd May told driver had "run out of hours", would rebook delivery date tomorrow
6th May contacted them again with complaint - told just waiting to book me in
11th May still no delivery or info

Service and price excellent. Being advised of the delivery date at the time of purchase is another example of the prompt and efficient way this company works

Will def be using again,maybe a 6x8 shed if they do.

We have been re-organising our garden and wanted some screening for plants to be trained up. Looked in local garden centres but could not find what we wanted. Looked up Fencing Direct and found just what we wanted at a reduced, end of season, sale. The diamond lattice trellis arrived, beautifully made, the delivery information was spot on, and even down to the last few hours, and actually arrived 30 minutes ahead of time quoted. Brilliant. The guys delivering the panels were polite and helpful. This kind of service is rare today, thank you so much for an efficient and honest service. Purchased some fence panels and delivered very quickly as arranged very smooth transaction process and delivery
Had an issue with one of the panels and contacted the company by email with a photograph of the issue
Within 48 hours I had a reply offering a replacement free of charge of delivery

i have just taken delivery of gravel boards, fence posts and panels. i was very impressed first of all with the ease of use of website. i also got to choose delivery date of my choice. items arrived this morning and was asked by a very competant and friendly delivery person where i wanted them put. would definitely use this company and would recommend them to anyone wishing to purchase fencing items
