We joined the FFR cohort 7 accelerator and it was fantastic for a number of reasons.

Firstly, the content. We had some excellent sessions (all spearheaded by the brilliant Dan but with an array of valuable guests) that really helped sharpen our pitch, commercial thinking and approach to fundraising.

Secondly, the connections. We've made friendships with a number of people from our cohort and the wider network and we're all championing each other to succeed.

Finally, the sense of ongoing community. It was so empowering to join FFR when me and my co-founder were feeling a bit overwhelmed by fundraising but the support has gone well beyond the 8 week accelerator. It's opened doors for us that we'll be forever grateful for!

I’ve been a member of Female Founders Rise B2B Group for a while now and it's hands down the best value subscription I pay for in my business. The learning content and community alone would be worth the monthly fee.

On top of that I've met genuinely great women who've become collaborators, and picked up two work referrals totaling £4k so far, with both looking like long-term clients. So the ROI is brilliant on a really reasonable subscription.

Emmie and the team are also making a massive impact on levelling the playing field for women seeking investment — I always recommend the accelerator and funding resources to my own clients who are raising.

Emmie through FFR has built something very special. The events are well curated, the speakers and panels are consistently high quality, and the conversations that happen in the room are honest, practical and genuinely useful. FFR are the only networking event where you don't feel icky networking! It is an open, inviting group of female founders from all stages on their journey. FFR is a fantastic group dedicated to supporting female founders scale and grow their businesses. The Exit and Beyond event I attended last week was amazing. In particular, I was blown away by the depth of experience on the speaker panel of exited female founders. It was so inspiring to see business women of this calibre and experience. I also met a wonderful array of women with all manner of exciting businesses who I've been in contact with following the event. Will definitely attend a future event!

I'd love to experience FFR like other reviews seem to. I booked and paid to go to an event that was then rescheduled due to tube strikes. Completely understandable. The issue came with refusing to refund my ticket .. I have a job from which I had to take time off, so I can't just go to other events, which are all Thursday mornings. This has simply left a bad taste, which is really unfortunate as I was quite excited to discover this community.

One of the best, warmest, most honest and diverse female business groups that I have had the pleasure to come across. Keep shining. Keep fighting the good fight! Absolutely loved the last newsletter and Dan's words in it.

Essential community for female founders - especially if you're just starting out and your friends and family don't understand what you're doing! Excellent networking and events, supportive community, high value masterclasses and learning opportunities for female founders at every stage.

I’ve been a member of FFR almost since its inception. I’ve dipped in and out due to my own circumstances but have always been able to rely on it for exceptional advice and resources around running a business, as well as many other important topics that sit outside of that. It has grown significantly since the start and rightly so, as it is a place where you can find other likeminded women for support, advice, business opportunities and general camaraderie. Huge kudos to the wonderful Emmie who has built this to what it is.

Honestly one of the best communities I've found since starting my business. The friendships are real, the support is genuine, and I've built work relationships I'm really proud of. If you're a founder looking for a community that actually shows up for you, this is it!

18 months in and I can’t speak highly enough of Female Founders Rise. TLDR: there is no downside to this community.

In a startup world buried in hype and hustle, FFR is rare: human, joyful and radical in its optimism. No gatekeeping. It is built around women without ever feeling cliquey or dumbed down, and that matters more than I can say as a solo female tech founder.

The connections I’ve made are lasting. From my Raise cohort, I now have a WhatsApp group with two fellow founders. A year on, we’re still voice-noting each other most days. Having proper, unvarnished, truthful peers to check in with is a lifeline.

Emmie’s energy and authenticity set the tone. Dan Bowyer is a gem too: frank, wry and compassionate, with a completely open VC perspective. Exactly what I needed.

When it is genuinely hard not to lose hope as a woman founder, FFR gives it back.

I started working with Female Founders Rise in 2023 and have been an active member ever since. I’ve been inspired by the incredible way they have scaled as an entrepreneurial community filled with members with generous minds. Emmie and the phenomenal team put so much thought and care into every detail. It is magic seeing women move from isolation to collaborative empowerment. Members are so kind and supportive. This was a fantastic accelerator to be part of. I gained so much from the programme and raised a healthy F&F round ahead of a pre-seed priced round. Thanks to Emmie, Dan, and Lea for the excellent structure and content taking us through building a pitch deck and pitching to investors.
