The most unsafe poorly managed warehouse I've worked at in all of Australia.
Where do I begin? An arrogant manager who forces staff to attend "toolboxes" to berate staff about their employment position.
Untrained staff that have never ridden a tugger driving into the aisles stability supports.
A company website full of stock images to present the idea they're professional but lack in every aspect and area imaginable.
A manager with a sour look on his face 24/7, requesting staff to speak to him about any issues whilst being extremely argumentative, combative and dismissing anything & everything you might say.
Horrible safety practices from nails sticking out of pallets at eye level, broken pallets over hanging about ready to fall on someone to having staff remove live electric plugs from power generators and claiming that an engineer said it was perfectly safe to remove regardless of any potential flammable ignition from the machine that's covered in battery acid of which you are inserting/detaching live electricity.
You're expected to reach a KPI goal with all the products obfuscated by over hanging broken pallets.
I fell over several boxes using the pedestrian walk way as it is common place to have mountains of cardboard debris and standard full size boxes all over the walkways but luckily I only banged my knee and my face landed on a box opposed to the concrete.
I was dismissed from this company for leaving once my shift had ended which of course is a fair work violation on their part and for not sticking around to listen to a toolbox after my shift had ended which was about how the manager doesn't expect everyone to still be working in a warehouse in a years time as if everyone is some kind of cockroach who needs to do better if life given their employment position then to dwell on his position in comparison to everyone else.
All in all this company is atrocious and I could not recommend you more to find employment elsewhere.
