Good product went on quite well, with a bit of patience. Covering a medium pile velvet from Gray to black. Did require 3 coats. Probably better value then stripping making new covers then fitting.

Was apprehensive but it really worked
First time using fabric paint was a bit apprehensive. Painted a velvet chair from grey to black and it turned out really great.
Will definitely be using again.

Really disappointed
I’m really disappointed with the Fabricoat dark grey dye. I spent a long time reading the reviews and carefully following the instructions, but unfortunately it didn’t work on my armchair. It’s been left with uneven, patchy areas and is now essentially ruined.
I contacted support for help, but their response was to follow the instructions. which I had already done.

I’ve just finished the first coat of dye on a faded sofa.
I bought the small bottle first to see how it went on the back of the sofa where it will never be seen.
I love it! So sent for 5 litres as the sofa has a raised pattern.
So far great.

I think you should tell customers that…
I think you should tell customers that a patented couch would take in different colours or better still it would change the colour of one part and not the other
I’m now trying to get a upholster out wich will be hundreds of pounds and still got paint that’s not going to be used so £75 pounds wasted brilliant

Strong pigment, good coverage
Arrived quickly. I've used this before and needed to order a little more to finish a storage box paint job.
Gives good coverage, the pigment is strong and the colour is exactly as expected. I would recommend.
Don't forget to dampen your fabric before painting or it will dry patchy.

Watch what materials you use.
Was OK, used on a velvet material- the softness has gone now it’s quite harsh after using colour is great, I would be hesitant on using it again.

Brilliant product
I considered buying this product for months and months and I’m so glad I went for it.
I covered a chair with it and in 2 coats it was covered well.
I still have a little left from the 500ml bottle.
I love that I can keep my chair and it suits my new decor
