DO NOT ORDER FEOM THEM! I have made six attempts via email to get a replacement or refund for an item that I never received. Their first response was to tell me that the item was shipped, after that they simply ignored all inquiries even though my first one was within the timeframe of their stated policy for requesting a refund. Zero regard for their customer’s satisfaction.

Avoid, not a reputable company
So, I spent over £100 on a tote bag as a Christmas gift,
The recipient asked if we could exchange for a different colour.
Simple request? Unfortunately not,
You need permission to return an item… 4 emails later and not a single acknowledgement or reply to any of my requests.
T&c’s state returns must be approved within 14 days… but they ignore you, so impossible to comply.
Beware, customer service is non-existent, I recommend avoiding at all costs.

Fablou have responded below and say they have replied to each of my emails, please be aware, NO replies have been received, and as my daughter hasn’t ever emailed them, sending her a reply would have been incredibly clever.
I continue to advise; avoid avoid avoid!

Value Added Tax added unlawfully after transaction
In the United Kingdom, adding a value-added tax after the transaction has been committed is not lawful. Although VAT is included in the price quoted, it is not identified correctly as Value Added Tax before the customer commits to purchase. The value is not stated, but the phrase (in tiny print) says "including taxes.

New Chelsea bag is a bit disappointing...
Love the original Chelsea bag, bought in 2018, used daily, and still going strong. Earlier this year I purchased 4 new colours (blush, lilac, Robyn, and Frapp) which are also fab, now with a pocket but sadly a shorter strap which made them less comfortable to wear.
I've recently bought a replacement for my 2018 black Chelsea bag, to keep for special occasions, and a pistachio coloured one in the sale, which, shorter strap aside, I'm very happy with. I also got one of the new mustard coloured bags and must say I'm disappointed with it. It's cheaper than the older style bags but now no pocket and the chunky, silver coloured, Fablou branded zipper attachment has been replaced with a piece of mustard coloured silicone. It doesn't look as nice, and isn't as easy to open and close. The strap is still too short too. Unfortunately, I think this may be my last Fablou purchase for a while, which is a shame, but the new style Chelsea bags don't seem the same quality as before, and not worth the admittedly cheaper price tag.
I'll cross my fingers for some longer straps being available for individual purchase soon though! And I can't fault the customer service, it's always been fantastic.

I bought 2 of these bags and unfortunately they were misplaced by the courier. I contacted Fablou and Sophia was just so helpful and sent out 2 more replacement bags. Thank you.
Stylish practical bag
I have bought about 8 of these bags in different colours for my Mrs and sister. They are small, stylish, practical and easy to clean. Delivery is quick and when the strap broke on one of my Mrs bag, it was replaced straight away. I am currently looking to get her another one for her collection, just got to find a colour that she has not got

my daughter introduced me to Fablou bags and since then we try and buy a city and Chelsea in every new colour that comes out......then we share them. I have recently bought a Chelsea with one of the new straps, which we will be able to use on any of our Chelsea bags to ring the changes. its great that they are just wipe clean and nice and strong. I have now got a friend hooked too!
Poor returns process
Ordered a rattan bag the strap stained a white top, emailed company requesting a return. Rookie two days to reply, then had to chase for a refund and even then only got the cost of the bag refunded still waiting for the cost of postage (£4.90) really poor customer service
Lovely bags - great customer service.
Looking at the reviews on this site I got the impression that Fablou is helpful when things go right, but not so great when they go wrong.
My husband bought me my second bag for Christmas and the straps on the back pack were flawed. I contacted Fablou, they investigated- I’d sent a photo - and they pretty immediately sent me a replacement bag.
I would say this is great customer service.
When I place my bag on a counter in a shop it is much admired and the brand noted.
I can only recommend this company in my experience.

Nice bag but overpriced
The bag is a nice bag but vastly overpriced. I think it's more in the £40- £50 value bracket.
I think I would only be happy to spend about £40 on this bag. I did send it back and get a refund for the bag, but not the £4.90 delivery charge or the £2.80 I payed to send it back. So it cost me £7.70 to not have the bag.
It would probably be good on the beach as it can get wet and wipe clean. But overall I did feel disappointed.
Once you send the bag back you no longer can review the bag on their website. So they only have reviews on there from people that have kept the bag.

Tracking of bag
I ordered a bag, paid for it with shipment but when I go on the website to track it after receiving a Starlinks tracking number: TP-5463270 it says there is no order.

If I could put minus stars I would! This bag comes with a warranty, but it’s not really a warranty it’s a joke! A stud on the inside pocket has come off a few months after having the bag. However customer service have said it’s a mechanical fault and not covered under the warranty! I should go to a cobbler and get it repaired my self.
Not worth the hassell. Don’t bother buying a fablou!
Fablou is the best
Fablou is my favourite brand since I received my first bag as a gift about 5 years ago. I have been wearing it since, and it is still in a perfect condition. Now I purchased another addition to the family and I am again very happy with it. It is Cruelty-free and I absolutely love everything about their bags. Stylish, easy to clean and original. fab Bag shame about the handle
Just bought my 4 th fablou bag, they are fab. Only one criticism, the last one I bought, the chelsea in black, which I love, came with a free red handle, I was really disappointed with this.i like to wear the Chelsea across body and the red handle was just too short for this. I expected it to be the same as the handle on the bag which it isn’t. Only a minor criticism still love your bags. But not so much my free red handle.
Nice enough products, awful customer service
Nice enough products but customer service is a farce. They don't understand that their "returns policy" doesn't allow orders to be cancelled, as required by the consumer contracts regulations 2014. I'll be chasing this up with trading standards. Edit..Fablou saw sense and fully refunded me, despite saying that shipping was non refundable according to their policies (illegal btw)

Beautiful, durable and wipe clean, these bags look and feel lovely. Mine arrived quickly, beautifully packed and in its own dust bag. There's lots of room for your essentials and more. Great for days out or for every day. Will definitely buy more!

Not only fabulous bags,but fabulous customer service as well. I already had one Fablou bag which I loved, then ordered another one as a treat for my birthday, unfortunately there was a minor problem with which Sophia sorted out no problem at all.we exchanged numerous e-mails, and nothing was too much trouble for her. Thankyou again Sophia its not often you get such courteous service nowadays.
