Really exceptional 100% wool rug from…
Really exceptional 100% wool rug from Fableroom. Easy to order online, and great prices for high quality item. Delivery was worked out as 6 weeks from point of confirmation, but it actually arrived slightly earlier than that. Tracking system was good, showing from when my rug was dispatched from India, arrived in the UK, and out for delivery.
I had no issues, and recommend this company.

From my first phone call to enquire about an item where the agent was so helpful and knowledgeable to the delivery arrangement and the product itself, very, very pleased with my item and would highly recommend FableRoom. Haroon round rug - a lovely quality wool rug at a very reasonable price
The rug was exactly as I pictured from the website. It arrived on time and I was kept up to date about when to expect delivery, to within the half hour. I like the textured feel of the rug (Haroon hand woven round wool rug). I would describe as a grey brown, with a nice subtle striated weave with a light and darker tones. It has a firmer raw wool feel than softer wool rugs, but for me this adds to the natural hand made feel and I think will be very durable. Very happy with this item especially for the price.

Beautiful product, nightmare company
If you value your time and sanity, look elsewhere. My experience included:
• Billing Errors: Charged for free items and then refunded the wrong amount.
• Delivery Chaos: Three failed attempts (damaged and wrong items) and a courier service that called constantly but could not follow basic instructions.
• Poor Support: Though they were pretty responsive, they tried to claim a stained rug was "designed that way" when it clearly wasn’t - I have seen multiple variations by this point!
I eventually got the right rug, and it is lovely, but no piece of furniture is worth this much stress and pushback from a company that clearly lacks quality control.

Disappointing quality and bait and switch tactics
I’ve been extremely disappointed with my experience with Fableroom and would not recommend them based on my recent orders.
The first issue was with a rug I purchased. When it arrived, the colour was completely different from what was shown online and the overall quality was far below expectations. It looked cheap and poorly made, nothing like the product advertised on the website.
The second issue was even more frustrating. I had ordered a marble side table that was due for delivery in early May, only to be informed later that it had been substantially delayed. Fableroom then offered me the option to swap to a similar alternative product that they said was available immediately. I spent time reviewing the alternatives online and selected a replacement that was advertised at the same price as my original order. However, I was then told that despite the advertised price, prices had “increased” and I would need to pay almost an additional £50 to receive it.
This felt like a classic bait-and-switch approach: fail to deliver the originally agreed product, encourage the customer to choose an alternative, and then attempt to extract more money despite the replacement being advertised at the same price online. At no point did Fableroom take ownership of the inconvenience caused or make any meaningful effort to honour the original agreement.
Overall, a very poor customer experience with misleading product presentation, disappointing quality, delays, and pricing practices that left me with very little confidence in the company.

At no point was there any intention to mislead or change pricing unfairly, the difference reflects the actual value between the discounted item purchased and the alternative selected.
A full refund has always remained an option, alongside waiting for the original item or choosing an alternative.

Very happy with the 2 pieces I have purchaased…
I have purchased two items from Fableroom. A console table which was of very high quality and required minimal assembly. I have had lots of compliments on it!
Also recently a rug arrived which I had pre ordered some months ago at a discounted price. It’s absolutely beautiful. The colours are exactly as in the picture which I was relieved about.
