Bought an Ezviz camera 2 years ago, and been fairly impressed with it until I took it down to charge it, was the 4th time in 2 years, it charged up ok and went the next morning to reinstall it and it’... See more

DON'T TOUCH This with a barge pole
None existent customer service, keep asking for the same details via a verrrrrry long email chain, offering ways to rectify the problem that don't even relate to the problem.
Constantly ignoring the reply I give them then they ask more unrelated questions.
I have stated time and time again that the product is not fit for purpose and that I require either a refund or replacement, but I just get ignored again and offered another useless solution.
They even advised me to slot an SD card into the doorbell camera to see it that helped fix the fault, there isn't even an SD card slot on the doorbell 🤦♂️their lack of knowledge of their own product is laughable.
Would never use again
Would never use again. Purchased a security floodlight from Ezviz. Got about 30 months out of the bulbs before they died. That was with minimal use as I didn't have the lights set to all night. Just for motion. Went to research how to change the bulbs only to find that you can't. Once the bulbs burn out you've to replace the whole unit. Paid €200 for the floodlight and €250 for an electrician to wire it. €450 down the drain and now Im left with nothing as I cannot afford to buy another and the electrician costs. It's extortionate practice by Ezviz. If the bulbs can't be replaced they should at least last alot longer than 30 months. I contacted Ezviz about this and was basically told tough and to buy a new floodlight. I asked to speak to a manager by 3 separate emails and was ignored. I will never buy Ezviz again. Back to TP link I go
Their support and software is just…
Their support and software is just terrible. Their support is a bunch of illiterate NPCs who can’t understand the problem even after telling them what is happening as simply and concisely as I can. It’s a constant back and forth of trying to repeat what the problem is and then giving a solution that has nothing to do with the problem or ignoring the problem entirely. Their software for the locks is horrible. Don’t buy from this brand! They don’t even listen to user feedback and they hardly update their firmware!!!
0 STARS!!
0 STARS!!!
I strongly advise against purchasing from EZVIZ Australia. I placed a preorder worth nearly $1,000, but I never received my order. After initially communicating, the supplier admitted they had no stock left but never refunded my money. Since then, they have stopped responding to me entirely. I have had to take this matter further. Extremely disappointing experience!
beware before purchasing!
Very bad funactely
Do not use them
Do not use them. They are a con. I cannot cancel my subscription. Their telephone numbers on their website do not work, automatic message says that they are on holiday. On Monday morning....
The customer service assistants are…
The customer service assistants are liars. So it means there’s no customer service. I requested a refund for the Receipt number - 2253-9295
Invoice number-967FE1FE-0001 and the customer service said that would send me an email and never did.
The customer service is a joke I have…
The customer service is a joke I have issues with outdoor cctv it doesn't record events overnight it freezes on live feed i pay for cloud service which is pointless as it doesn't record events overnight i have been given the runaround for weeks camera is 4 months old I have advised them of my statutory rights and standard 12 months warranty they taking no notice. Don't buy this sub standard rubbish go elsewhere
Confusing customer service
I needed help to reconnect the camera after getting a new router. You can fill in a form for a live agent to reply, but all they did was repeat what the bot had already "said" and showed no signs of having read my replies. BUT I finally found a phone number and spoke to a live agent who helped me to solve the problem.
EZVIZ in door camera
Got my indoor camera a week ago had few problems with live view got in touch with customer service and they give me good advice and everything is working great now.
Closed ecosystem
Only works one their closed app,
Camera came with scratched.
No password in the box, or even manual
Btw it is enzvzi_Verivication code
Absolute joke of service support
Absolute joke of service support. I had to throw my device away because they couldn't reactivate my account. Avoid.
No human detection as advertised
The black Ezviz BC1C. I do not recommend this camera to anyone. They say it has human detection. It does not have this option. You pay extra for a lie. Customer service basically do not do anything. The worst customer service I have ever seen. All what they did that they apologized and admitted that it is not working and asked me to wait for an open ended time till they fix it. They advertise that it comes with human detection and it doesn't. It is a scam and the company know.
Terrible door bell
I bought EZVIZ’s camera doorbell which comes with an app so I can answer the door via my phone. It hardly ever works. It keeps losing connection but there is no warning so people ring the doorbell and think it’s working but it can’t be heard inside. They then assume no one is home. I have missed getting deliveries and visitors because of it. It’s useless and now I cannot get it to connect at all! I have only had it a few months. Also, people think it’s a door bell for the elderly. I pay nearly £5 per month for nothing. Don’t by it. Get a smart bell via a very popular on line shop.
I have had to replace first camera…
I have had to replace first camera because light started flickering after 8mths got a replacement and this one started flickering after 18mths. Totally useless.
They stopped Cloud Play service in the UK...
I used Ezviz home cameras for a couple of years and never had significant problems. yes the app interface is clumsy and there is no customer service.
Things went bad when in October 2024, a couple of days after colleting their monthly fee, they wrote that the service was being discontinued to allow them to focus on other products. Now stuck with £130 worth of useless hardware. They did not even try to sell other services or upgrade me to a superior service (if one even exists). Unprofessional.
Bad Company.
I gave two stars because I was satisfied and I valued subscription-free. However I have taken 3 stars away because my husband moved out, and Ezviz account was set up in his name. Ezviz would find no way to remove my ex from the account. That meant I either left my ex on the account, with access to my comings and goings, or I simply could not use it. They had no way to do anything that would help. It took 6 months of emails back and forward before I gave up. They are uninterested in a person's security, only in their policies. Company first, customer second - that is not okay. BAD COMPANY.
The R20 robot vacuum and mop has had to go back
The R20 robot vacuum and mop has had to go back. It works quite well but there are no accessories (bags, mop heads, brush filter) currently available in Uk. The box is heavy. With mops attached it cannot cross carpets and rugs which makes it a bit impractical.
Worst cameras ever
Worst cameras ever! Do not buy... no customer support whatsoever. My cameras haven't worked for nearly two months, despite me constantly reaching out to the company and explaining why it was so essential for these to work... they did nothing but kept sending me an automated response.. in the end I got a tech guy in and he sorted it out in an hour and a half.. but he had to jump loops to sort it. Customer support.. what customer support... it doesn't exist. Buy a different brand like Tapo... this company are utterly useless!
Used garbage
Cannot install well as there is little room for the marettes provided and base is too flat. Will not add to the app and the reset button does not work at all. No voice coming from it and chime doesn’t work. I think this is a used one that someone has already loaded to an app. What moron thought it a good idea to use microscopic non magnetic screws to go up, working AGAINST gravity. Drop one of these and it’s gone. Better off to screw cover on top or the sides. What an expensive piece of shyt that I’m getting rid of asap.
