This was the third time I’ve been…

This was the third time I’ve been unsuccessful in charging my vehicle in Banffshire Scotland.
We need more charging stations around preferably ran by a different company

I didn't think they Ezo could be any…

I didn't think they Ezo could be any worse than CPS but how wrong was I.

Never known so many rural chargers to be out of action. This is going to cause utter carnage come the influx of tourists during the summer months

Update following a response from Ezo. Chargers couldn't be started by the app or rfid card. The charger in broadford is dead, no power.

Current charging session good but ...

Current charging session was great. As a general comment though, this company's network is wildly unreliable with units not working, not logging in, not even communicating with car sometimes.

The app is very poor

The app is very poor. It needs a much better ‘how to’ and FAQ guide.

I was charged €50 for a small charge. After searching online this may be a holding charge and hopefully I’m not charged for €50 for an hours charge (not a fast charge) but that information is not clearly displayed at the charging station.

There should be a way to scan your location rather than using the map…I was in a hurry and ended up tapping my card rather than using the app as it was very unclear.

Please make your app more user friendly for occasional users!

Just to reassure you, the €50 charge you saw is a pre-authorisation hold. This is a temporary amount placed on the card at the start of a charging session and is standard practice across many industries. It isn’t the final cost of your charge, and any unused portion is automatically released back to you by your bank.

We completely understand how this can feel unclear if you’re in a hurry, especially for occasional users. Making the experience simpler and more intuitive is very important to us, and we’re continuously improving our guidance within the app.

QR code activation is also high on our priority list. In the meantime, many drivers find our RFID fob to be a really smooth alternative — you can simply tap and charge without needing to open the app at all.

The charging station was there and did…

The charging station was there and did work. It took a couple of gos of plugging it in and unplugging and starting and restarting my app. It's 50 KW an hour and in a good location.
When I was recharging my money ran out, and I topped it up. However, I was unable to get the recharging to restart. I had to go back to the charging station and go through the same process again a few times to make it work.
The tap and go option didn't work at all

We’re glad to hear you were able to get charged in the end and that the location suited you well. We understand it can be frustrating when it takes a couple of attempts to get going. When starting a session, we always recommend giving the charger at least a full minute to respond before making further attempts, as interrupting the process too quickly can sometimes cause delays.

Regarding the session ending when your balance ran out — once a Prepay balance reaches zero, it isn’t possible to remotely restart the same session. A new session needs to be initiated at the charger. For longer charges, we recommend topping up a little extra in advance to help avoid interruptions.

We’ll take a look internally to see if there was anything that may have prevented the charger from starting on the first attempt. We really appreciate you bringing it to our attention!

I could not charge my car at the…

I could not charge my car at the Ferrycarrig hotel in wexford, I have an account with EZO and as far as I was aware, tap my card then charge.
