Getting the guys in from Extra Mile Movers to help us with our move was one of the best decisions we've made. What a fantastic, hardworking and professional group of men. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

They worked tirelessly from early til late getting us moved to our new home.

Not only was their pricing spot on, there were no extra charges added on while they had to wait for us to get access to the property.

It's great to be able to support a young company, and with the work ethics they all have they can only go from strength to strength.

If we could give more than 5 stars we would!

Wow, thank you so much for moving us. Absolutely top quality service, everything was so delicately stacked and moved. I had prepared in advance buying mattress wrapping and other protective bits but the firm supply their own and take great care of your belongings. Such friendly guys who couldn’t do more to help on the day.

Extra Mile Movers were amazing. We emailed them with a short date for moving which was very stressful and they made the whole moving experience as stress free as possible. True to their word there were no hidden costs the price was excellent and the removal gentlemen were wonderful, couldn't do enough to help. We had three vans booked but only needed 2 vans. Mason refunded the cost of one of the vans from the original quote. Absolutely would highly recommend this company for anyone looking to move. fantastic company.

What can we say? We were delighted with EMM from start to finish (Guy re-assured us at the quote stage and Mason was very patient with all my pre-moving queries). EMM did exactly what they said they would (and some) together with being on time, courteous, polite, professional, caring and responded positively to any asks that we had along the way. What was also heartening is that they seemed to enjoy their work and get along with each other. We would definitely use them again and EMM are highly recommended.

The guys were nice and early and very professional throughout the whole move, nothing was damaged and everything was put where we wanted when we moved, it was a very stress free move mostly down to the guys at extra mile movers, would 100% recommend them to anyone moving house.

I was recommended Extra Mile Movers by a work colleague. I got two quotes, one from a very well established local removal firm and one from Extra Mile. Extra Mile’s quote was far better and didn’t include odd clauses about charging extra if they had to wait more than an hour for the you to arrive with the keys. On the day a football team of people arrived and moved us out and in to our house quickly and professionally. The crew was friendly, all introducing themselves by name. They took charge and rooms were cleared really quickly. Everything arrived in good condition, no breakages.

Special mention to Mason who was the most patient contact whilst we waited to confirm our moving date, always friendly, reassuring and responsive. The whole team was brilliant including the member they drafted in to make up numbers.

I’d certainly recommend EMM to anyone looking for a removals company.

From the first phone enquiry to move finish, Extra Mile Movers were great. Our move was not the most straight forward and dates kept being pushed back but they worked with us and finally we moved with no bother. A team of 7 turned up on time and worked extremely hard on an exceptionally hot day. They were polite, courteous and sometimes quite funny. The driver has to be congratulated for his reversing skills! Having professionals move us was a good decision, a job well done, thank you

Agreed a very reasonable quote and we accepted. Turned up on time crammed all of our furniture into vans and unpacked it at the new house and reassembled it all. Cant fault this wonderful company. Would definitely recommend. Thanks Extra Mile Mover

EMM provided amazing service at a really affordable rate!

After being referred to them by a removals comparison website, they got in touch straight away and even sent someone over to inventory our flat. So many companies we looked at just assumed how much stuff we had based on the size of our flat or got us to write a list of everything... To have this level of thoroughness gave us real piece of mind that they would send a large enough track and team, and meant that we could discuss the process in person.

On the day they showed up on time, loaded everything up incredibly quickly and securely, and off they went. Ours was a long-distance move so they arrived the next morning at the property and unloaded everything into whichever room we wanted.

They took all of the stress out of a famously stressful time of life, and I'd recommend to them anyone and everyone!

EMM moved me in January of this year (2024) from Norfolk to Blackburn, a two day move. They were professional but also down to earth, practical and very helpful. Everything was done properly, as they promised, and they were very efficient. For a 2-day move, they were extremely competitive on price, and I was delighted with the great value-for-money they provided.
