Great product that was easy to apply. Lowered sun exposed brick temperature and average of 10-15 degrees.

I applied this product, 5500 Polyaspartic Polyurea Coating, to an exterior table that sits under a gazebo. It does get a fair amount of sun in the late afternoon. I have not had any problems with this finish other then having to work fast when I applied it because of the quick set up time. On a previous table top I applied an epoxy that bubbled and lifted after the same kind of exposure to the sun. We use this table every day during the summer and I am very happy with the finish so far.

Very thick and can be difficult to back brush. Needs to be thinned with Floetrol, then it lays down well. The plastic container does not secure well once opened. A regular paint can would be better, but it’s so thick that both containers must be very clean before closing. Suggest floating a bit of water on top to keep it from drying out.

All-in-all it appears to be a good product. I‘m painting bee hives with it to keep hives cooler in summer. Too early to tell if it makes a difference, but it’s worth the extra expense to keep bees foraging instead of ventilating the hive.

Great product so many applications for a water proofer. I mixed a tiny bit of acrylic paint for transparent stain looks great.

This review is a follow up to my June 2nd review. George sent a whole new kit to me, the ASTC 6009. I followed the instructions and the results were great! I used a handheld fertilizer spreader to broadcast the color flakes and the consistency was spot on. I followed the 6009 with ASTC 5500ex clear coat with an anti slip additive mixed in. Again, the results are great, the customer service is absolutely fantastic. I recommend anyone looking for a high quality epoxy coating to consider Exterior coatings.com

I ordered a floor covering product for our shop floor. Circumstances changed for us and we were unable to use the material. When I asked if there was any way the product could be returned, the response was basically "No, sorry. No returns." I understand that is their policy, but good customer service would have at least tried to find another customer we could have sold the product to, even at a discounted price, so that it all wouldn't go to waste and we wouldn't have completely lost all of our investment in this product.
