Absolutely incredible. Waiting 5 days in a row.

Day1: They sent me a message that the packages should arrive today between 12:16 and 16:16. So I took half a day off, discovering that they decided at 10:00 that there is a capacity problem and the package will be delivered on a later date. Absolutely unreliable.
Day 3: I got a mail that they would deliver it today. Between 10:20 and 12:20. At 12:20, I got a new mail that the delivery is stil in progress, but that it can take another 3 hours. At 15:15 the delivery person had an accident or became ill.. Another day of waiting without result.

The soap continues. The packages are now scheduled somewhere in the afternoon. Another package scheduled for today is suddenly scheduled for tomorrow.

Since I do not want to wait for the 5th day in the week, I want to reschedule the delivery to tomorrow, so that all packages arrive at the same time, but I am not able to do that. Since they failed to deliver the packages on their behalf, the act like I was the reason that the delivery failed.

It takes longer to transport 25 km by Express One than a international shipment from for example China.

How can this company still be alive? Previously I had a package that was in the Express One office for two weeks waiting for someone to bring it from Pécs to a village in the neighbourhood. You cannot pick it up. (In that case it was medicine that we needed for our holiday. Today I saw that the package would be delivered. This time within Budapest it failed delivery due to capacity issues. They are making their problem my problem. You do not have any influence on who the store picks for sending packages so please, very please may the go bankrupt?. Is there not a consumer representer that can urge shops not to use this transporter. Transporter.. yeah.. they recieved the package... but not much after this.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience, my package entered their tracking but is stuck in same state for more than 10 days and nobody knows where it is or is trying to help in any way.

unserious company

I ordered two packages on 25/12/28 and they are still not here. I get 2 messages on each day. 1) on the morning that they deliver today at whatever time and, on the afernoon a 2) second mail about that they can't deliver today. They do it on each days in the past 2 weeks. I see UPS, DPD deliver in our street.

They are pure scammers

They are pure scammers, I just moved in Hungary. I bought from Amazon few expensive goods and first they lied telling that I was not home when I was and second, they never came back a second time for it. End of story: 2 packages lost worth 240€. Completely unreliable and they have someone inside making big profits reselling people’s online purchases for SURE

This is ridiculous

This is ridiculous. They are lying about deliveries. No one has ever sent me a link to do modifications and on the day when the package was just 20 km away so it should be delivered that day so we waited all day at home but the status changed to „ Delivery date shifted upon addressee's request”
How is this possible. They sent that link to themselves? so they can modify without recipient knowledge? Amazon should avoid this service at all costs.

AVOID! From "Delivered" to "Disappeared": How Express One stole a child's Christmas (and then made statistical excuses)

I am writing this to warn others about the shocking lack of integrity at Express One Hungary. My experience: A package was marked as 'delivered' to a locker. I received the code. I opened the locker. It was EMPTY.

This is not a 'technical glitch' or 'bad luck'. It is a multi-step process where a driver deliberately closes an empty locker and confirms delivery in the system. When I contacted them, the response was even worse: They hid behind legal definitions, calling it a 'loss' to avoid responsibility, and pointed to their 'statistics' of 100,000 other successful deliveries.

They didn’t just lose a box; they allowed the theft of a hard-to-find Christmas gift for a 10-year-old child. While Amazon (the sender) is professional enough to refund the money, the emotional damage and the ruined Christmas dream remain. Express One’s business ethics are non-existent. If you have a choice: AVOID THEM at all costs.

The worst courier company

The worst courier company! I emailed them and called them and they told me the same thing, that the package is in my country and I told them that it is not in my country, that I checked, I called my courier! they have the same cheap replies! They didn't even want to check my tracking number to see exactly where it is.. they said it is not possible, it is not possible, try your courier. Seriously?

Piece of $4!T

They are lieing about the delivery status and they are not flexibile with shipping. If you have chance to choose any other way to shipping, then never try expressone! Worst case scenario!

I am very disappointed with the service…

I am very disappointed with the service I received from Express One.

Although the courier called me and I confirmed my doorbell number, no actual delivery attempt was made. Despite this, the tracking status was incorrectly updated as “delivery failed.” I was at home the entire day, and nobody rang the doorbell.

When I tried to reach the courier again, there was no response. I also attempted to contact Express One’s customer service, but after selecting the English option, no one ever picked up, which made the situation even more frustrating.

The company later replied that the package would be delivered the next working day, but I cannot be expected to stay available repeatedly due to their mistake. My time was wasted, and the incorrect status update is unacceptable.

I hope Express One improves both the accuracy of their delivery attempts and the responsiveness of their customer service. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend their service at this time.

Terrible service.

Terrible service! Do not work with them!
They send the driver phone nr., but never pick it up. Useless.
They do not want to work or think, choose the easiest way: "address error".
Costumer care lies. It is a joke. Forget it.
Worst of all carriers.

I am beyond frustrated with Express One…

I am beyond frustrated with Express One Hungary. They have never managed to deliver a single Amazon order to me in Budapest (District 5). Every single time, they claim I “wasn’t home” — which is a complete lie. I live right in the city centre, with a working doorbell, but their drivers simply refuse to ring it!

The real issue? I don’t have a Hungarian mobile number. Apparently, that’s enough for them to decide they can’t deliver my parcel. I’ve repeatedly explained that they can easily contact me on WhatsApp via my UK number, but they flat-out refuse. Instead, they just mark the delivery as failed and send the package back — no call, no message, nothing.

It’s ridiculous that in 2025, an international delivery company can’t handle something as simple as messaging a foreign number or ringing a doorbell. The drivers are lazy, the customer service is useless, and the entire experience is infuriating.

Express One Hungary has completely ruined the convenience of ordering from Amazon here. If you rely on them, expect endless frustration, lies about “missed deliveries,” and absolutely no accountability.

I run a store and order often from…

I run a store and order often from other websites that exclusively use dpd and express one. Express one, by far, is an absolute horrid service. Multiple times I didn't receive my shipment when they said it would arrive. Twice already, the shipment was not delivered 3 times and I received it on the 4th try. To make matters worse, every single time they do not deliver, they lie and put stupid information like "customer not home", address was wrong", and "customer asked for a later delivery date". All false! They provide you with the delivery personnel's phone number, but they never pick up when you call them. The tracking link is useless as you won't get your delivery anyway. Customer service is nice, but so far, I am 1 for 2 in the success of reaching my goal (which is getting proper information). I do not recommend this delivery service and will express my discontent to the vendors I buy from as well. There is a reason why their rating is this low!

Deliverer doesn't show up

Regularly claim that "Addressee was not present at delivery address" when the deliverer didn't even show up or attempt to call/ring the doorbell/deliver the package. In the rare occasions they do deliver though, they do it clean and efficient, but they are trouble more often than not.

I ordered a delivery to my door for a product from AliExpress, but instead of this the parcel was delivered to the next town at a pick-up location, without anyone contacting me! I contacted the courier company head office and they said that it's not their problem and I should contact the one in my country. I tried contacting them multiple times without any response. I tried to refund the order but I got rejected because I didn't had any proof. How can I have proof that something wasn't delivered at the right place? Also AliExpress could have just checked the tracking number and see where it was delivered! Anyways they rejected my claim. After couple of weeks the courier finally took the parcel from the pick-up location and brought it to me, all while being extremely rude

All in all I wouldn't recommend either this product nor AliExpress to anyone anymore!

The worst of all they shiped the product a day after because i changed the number contact to my friends because i couldnt pick it up and they didnt call him just started horning before the house and it was for the birthday of one of my family members so i coundnt give it to him just after 2 days.
