My kid is getting top of the class grades in Maths. This the extra that enables me to give her a better chance.

I had three of my children passed through Excelr8 Learning tutoring and it’s been a pleasure to partner with the organisation. They helped my boys to further developed their creative writing skills and we saw improvement in their English language.

Our daughter has made huge progress with Excelr8 over the last few months and has now not only improved her confidence in maths, so she is able to participate more in class, but is also gaining much improved marks In her tests. I've used Excelr8 for both of my children up to age of 12 and I've had excellent experiences with various tutors. The lessons are structured with good use of computer software which the kids enjoy. What is great is that you can alternate lessons - so often we'd have English one week, maths the next which is great for primary school and KS3. So there is good flexibility. Thanks for supporting my boys over the last 6 years!!

My 17 year old son failed his maths GCSE last summer so need to resit it this year. I chose one to one session for him to make sure he was well placed to pass this time. Having one to one lessons meant he had no distractions and focused for the hour on maths. Being located at Hardwick right next to the bus stop meant he could easily make his own way to and from the lessons back to Cambourne with buses every 15 minutes. My son has today sat his last paper and felt very confident that he would get a good grade this time. I’m confident that this wouldn’t have be possible without the lessons at Excelr8

It's a great and flexible option, both to help overcome difficulties and to stretch beyond what's taught at school. Tutors are experienced teachers and the results of the initial assessment struck me as very accurate, which gives confidence in the method. Jacob is a lovely tutor, who connects very well with both my boys, which is so important for their motivation. He's also very accommodating about planning lessons and providing extra homework to best support them and keep them focused.

My boys like the teachers very much. They are kind , patient and experienced.

My son had a poor experience with a tutor, he was due to have a Maths test the next day and was worried about a topic. He asked the tutor if he could cover it in the lesson but it was refused as the lesson was already planned out. I don't think it's unreasonable for a child to request help on a topic at the price this organisation charge for a lesson. Also the tutor was teaching a method differently to the teacher so it was confusing him. We have also been given conflicting advise between 2 tutors at ExcelR8 in relation to times tables.
We gave 4 weeks notice and were told we would be refunded the remaining 4 weeks monies paid which is a lot of money for single parent. Very unhappy. very rigid and inflexible business.

Note: their reply below still doesn't address the fact they will not return money owed to me for lessons not taken beyond the notice period and are in breach of contract.

The staff of Excelr8 have shown incredible patience and understanding with my daughter. My daughter (6 years old) has some learning difficulties and finds it difficult to express herself. This can lead to difficult / stressful situations for her during class. The staff has proven to be able deal with these situations, making the whole experience a positive one for my daughter for which I am very grateful. I would recommend Excelr8, without any reservations, for any child.
