Agent didn't show up to our appointment, but sent an associate instead — without telling me. The associate left the viewing BEFORE the appointed time. When I arrived, I waited 20 minutes, then sent texts and emails, and left voicemails; which the agent didn't respond to. The associate then called me a half hour after the appointment to see if I was there.
Yes, I was a bit perturbed. Her response was not to apologize for the mix up, but to tell me to "calm down."
BTW, I made my way into the building and found the apartment door unlocked, so I went in and did the viewing myself. What kind of trustworthy real estate agent leaves an apartment unlocked? In New York City?
