Misleading website appearance and excessive fees

I applied for an ESTA through this website after it appeared first in a Google search for “ESTA.” The site’s design, colors, and emblems gave me the impression that it was an official or authorized service.

Only after completing the application did I realize I had paid around $150, while the official ESTA fee is about $40 via the official U.S. government website (CBP).

The service provided was essentially submitting the same application I could have completed myself directly, without any clear added value to justify the price difference.

Only after reviewing the site more carefully did I find a clarification stating that this is not a U.S. government website. In my experience, this notice appeared only in small text at the bottom of the page, and I did not see any prominent disclaimer on the main screen during the process.

I recommend that others apply directly through the official ESTA site of U.S. Customs and Border Protection to avoid unnecessary extra fees.

My attempts to contact the company and request at least a partial refund were unsuccessful.

Update following the company’s public response:

After the company replied publicly to my review, expressing concern and asking me to contact them again so they could “look into the matter as a priority,” I submitted another detailed request through their website and later followed up by email after receiving no response for several days.

Eventually, I received essentially the same refusal as before: since the ESTA had already been processed, they stated that I was not eligible for any refund or partial compensation.

While the public response suggested a willingness to reconsider the situation, my actual experience after contacting them again did not lead to any meaningful review or resolution.

I appreciate that they delivered the ESTA service itself, but I remain disappointed by the overall handling of the complaint and by the lack of flexibility given the misleading impression the website initially created.

Be very careful nothing to do with country it's a scam and charge over double if you went to correct website and no refund.
Buyers beware you are paying double for visa with this site AVOID AVOID
