Absolutely dreadful company. Very high premiums and minimal payouts. Cancelling my policy.
Honestly, you take out the policy and as your pet gets older, the pump their prices up so much and the claim pay out is next to nothing.
I was paying £40.43 per month and had to use the insurance a couple of times but maximum £500 pay out and now they've increased it to around £60 per month.
Absolutely ridiculous.
Have just cancelled.

Submitted my first claim at the end of this year and the only delay was with my vet itself. Was very happy with my claim handling by everypaw and will be renewing insurance for another year due to this.

Second year in a row this company has reuind my Christmas & NY. Last year they cancelled my policy as my Shar Pei was diagnosed withn kidney failure. I fought for 3 months before they reinstated my policy admitting they were in the wrong.
This year they have graced me with a £850 increase in my policy, doubling my monthly payments.
ABSOLUTE DISGRACE OF A COMPANY!!! AVOID!!!!
My reply to your lame response - I finally spoke with two members of your staff after my complaint & request for a reduction was ignored to be told you could give me £5 off if I reduced my policy from £7000 to £5000.
Thank you for your useless advice, but I already tried that & it was a total waste of my time.
Do let me know if you have another bright idea.

I cannot fault Everypaw. They paid out for most of my dogs behavioural, urinary issues and cancer operations. They are the best pet insurer I’ve ever dealt with. Thank you.

First time in my life ever claiming for anything. But at 81yrs of age claiming for my dog aprox £1008 in April this year. NO wouldn't pay. Due to a young vet lying 4yrs previous. I took my 18mths old Frenchie that I only had SIX weeks to out of hours vet Grove Lodge at 8.10am. Never asked if I was registered with a vet. Only 7mins consultant no invoice or breakdown we left, nothing wrong with dog. However all the information of visit and what vet had supposidly discussed was sent to Dundee in Scotland where all out of hours visits are sent. So 4yrs later Everypaw found this. It took 2 months June later for me to get a copy. I knew it was lies never discussed consultation would have 15mins not 7mins. EVERYPAW never paid, never listened to my account. My family paid my vet due to my concern and stress. Never again.
REPLY: TO EVERPAW.
Your company had every opportunity over 6 weeks to sort this out, over numerous phone calls and letters. I wrote to you with an honest version of what happened 4 YEARS earlier at a SEVEN MINUTE out of hours consultation. Grove Lodge Worthing sent all the supposedly advice given to DUNDEE in Scotland. My dog was booked into my vet on 15th April for an XRAY to determine why he was hurting. Following the xray and tests etc, vet phoned at 2pm all was clear, he had an enlarged prostrate, painful, I didn't know dogs had a prostrate. Vet would castrate him immediately 🤔.
Your company had every opportunity to charge me for castration and settle payment for xray tests etc. But NO you chose to believe the lies a young vet had given 4yrs earlier- he didn't even ask if I was registered with a vet. A cardinal sin. My vet should have received a copy of that supposedly 7mins consultation.
Stress and worry for me, never again. My family in Scotland paid the bill.

We have a long standing claim with this company.
We were told the vets did all the administration of the documents, which we supplied them. The vet confirmed all the documents have been sent.
I am getting almost weekly emails off the insurance company asking for details. On checking with the vets they confirm that they have been sent. Not getting anywhere, just getting a feeling that the insurance company are looking at any way to avoid paying

No idea what there cover is like never got that far, had to contact them to let them know i had got the dob of our puppy incorrect on the policy, they cancelled it by sending a blunt message though there portal, no phone call no inquiry to see if there was a mistake, this is what they sent,
I write to you in reference to your recent communication regarding the above numbered policy. Thank you for confirming Daisy May’s correct Date of Birth. However, please note Daisy’s correct age makes her too young to insure. Please note we provide new cover for dogs from 8 weeks to 8 years old. Therefore, as Daisy May is still too young to be insured, unfortunately we have had to cancel your policy. Please note, you are more than welcome to purchase a new policy when Daisy May is eligible for cover. We apologise for the inconvenience caused. If you require any further assistance on this or any other matter, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service team on 0344 543 1009.
the puppy is 8 weeks 6 days old was 8 weeks when we got her, tried to call and sort it out but the robotic scripted response from the call handler just angered me, i didn't see the email about a message in the portal for 2 days i had no idea they had just cancelled my policy and we where no longer insured. Absolute no people skills, if they had re instated the policy when i called up and actually apologised rather than a scripted 'i understand how you feel' ball i may of stayed with them, awful customer service you cant even complain properly has to be done by the call handler cant contact a complaints department yourself.
No dount they will copy and paste a responce like: We are sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction. If you did wish to discuss the circumstances surrounding your claim in more detail, our Customer Service Team would be more than happy to assist you and can be reached on: 0344 543 1050. Please note we are available Monday-Friday 8.30am - 6pm. Many thanks, The Everypaw Team.
Just like they do on all the other bad reviews, well i did that and it made things worse
ADDED AFTER REPLY: just goes to show they did exactly what i predicted with the copy and paste reply, don't think they even read the review
Oh look they did read it and changed the reply
