Unhelpful Receptionists
I am writing to express my profound frustration and disappointment with the service provided by The Everglade Medical Practice over the past six days. My attempts to schedule appointments for my wife and 3-year-old daughter, both of whom were involved in a bus accident, have been met with significant obstacles and unprofessional behavior from the reception staff.
Following the advice of the doctor from the Accident and Emergency department, who recommended contacting our GP after a few days of treatment, I diligently attempted to reach The Everglade Medical Practice each day. However, my efforts have been in vain.
For six consecutive days, I have called the GP practice promptly at 8:30 am, enduring lengthy waits of up to two hours to book appointment. Unfortunately, after2 hours waiting to be answered one of the receptionist called MARIA advised me to call next day as there is no appointment. I did call next days and she provide me with the same responds for 6 days.
On multiple occasions, my calls have been abruptly ended as soon as the MARIA answered, leaving me with no choice but to call back and endure further waiting.
Moreover, one particular receptionist (MARIA) has consistently refused to provide me with an appointment, claiming that none were available and instructing me to call back the next day. Despite my urgent need to speak to a doctor regarding my wife's broken hand and my daughter's emotional distress following the accident, I have received the same response for six days straight.
The lack of professionalism and empathy displayed by certain reception staff members is deeply concerning. It is unacceptable to encounter such dismissive attitudes and barriers when seeking medical attention for my family. The stress and anxiety caused by this situation have only been compounded by the indifference and lack of understanding demonstrated by the reception staff.
