We had a fantastic experience with Evergen Solar. The team were polite, professional, and installed all the wiring and equipment incredibly tidily and exactly to our specifications. They also had great musical taste, which made the day even better, and they cleaned up thoroughly after themselves so you wouldn’t know they’d been. Highly recommend.

Very prompt efficient and friendly

after coming back to put panels right, the second lot of scaffolding is still there after making 10 ish phone calls to them about removing it, all you get from them "We will be in touch them to get it remove straight away, that was 3 weeks ago and it's still there. Thing of charging rent/storage for the scaffold

Aftercare is so bad. Had problems from install, installers didn't put the app on my phone and set it up, told me to contact Evergen, all they did was send instructions, which didnt work, something worse with the setup, they never fixed it.
Now the system isnt working at all, wont send anyone out, just want me to send pictures of parts I dont even know about because I wasnt shown. Im not an idiot but I was never shown. So bad

Fantastic service from salesmen coming to home to sell us the product. Full support from the installation team . Regular phone calls from the company to update on the solar panels being made. Highly recommended this company

Had a great experience with evergen solar,our solar installations was a bit tricky with our property management issues but evergen helped us through out the process and we’re really supportive. Bernard was highly professional, knowledgeable, and efficient throughout the entire solar installation process. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions, and ensured the system was installed to a very high standard. His attention to detail and commitment to quality were outstanding. The work was completed on time, and the system has been performing excellently. I would highly recommend Bernard to anyone looking for a reliable and skilled solar engineer.In addition had another staff from evergen ,Richard was so helpful and supportive throughout the stressful situation.We are happy with Evergen .

The actual installation (by contractors, not Evergen) was excellent. However, the actual system installed was not what I asked for as it shuts down if there is a power cut and I had some problems with the datalogger and the documentation for electricity export. Customer service was poor or evasive and on one occasion the assistant put the phone down on me while I was talking. When I complained by email they pretended that they couldn't do anything. Not a caring company. They also neglected to send my MCS certificate and I had to call twice to get it supplied - the first time they issued a different document that I already had, adding to the substantial delays (months-long) of applying my electricity export.

Given dates for scaffolding and installation 8th to 12th June, nothing. No contact from the company, stayed in all day etc. When contacted them they explained waiting for some paperwork. Told that they will contact us when scaffolding to be erected. Still heard nothing, not even a timescale. Holidays upcoming etc. Very stressful, Holidays upcoming, access to neighbours property to be arranged. Did we fall for one of the oldest tricks in the book..ie the installation team will be in your area on such and such date so sign up now for a prompt installation. Very concerned.

The 2 installers were polite and cracked on with the work well (fitting solar panels, a battery and a car charger). The quality of the job was good. It would have been 5 stars if they’d have tidied up a bit more (picking up wire off-cuts and sweeping up brick dust). Overall, would recommend Evergen

Avoid this company. Aftersales service is a joke there. People on the phone are polite and seemingly helpful with booking service visits, but the electricians never arrive. Then it goes again: apologies on the phone, new bookings and no electricians. Into third month already replacing a faulty optimiser.

Thanks so much to Anthony and Brad for installing our new solar panels today. They were both so so friendly and professional. They got stuck in straight away and honestly have such a great work ethic. Thanks so much again :-)

I’d highly recommend. Very quick turnaround from enquiry to quote and from there everything good:

- Good communications - clear and efficient at each step on providing documents and providing clarity on next steps and timeline

- Excellent installation; Brad and Jed were great - had to change positioning of our battery up into loft and they were great at looking at the options, and the final installation was a quality job. Both couldn’t have been more professional or friendly - top notch.

- Equipment is really good; focus is on panels themselves being top notch and choosing a sensible and not over the top battery system, which is exactly right - very happy so far

- Had an issue where the dongle that logs the data to send to the app stopped working 5 days in, but customer services was top notch - email response in 45 minutes, tried to fix, put me in touch with the supplier, they sent a replacement which arrived in 2 days - again very responsive by email (minutes not hours), all working again

Only comment I would say - the sales technique - pretty aggressive, and I get it to an extent - it’s a big purchase and people have trouble committing. I knew it was coming, and I know how it works - high anchor, price falls, then ‘call my manager’ to get the actual price / make you think you’re getting a good deal (and to be fair that final price was fair) - but it’s a bit off putting…

Didn’t stop me giving a 5 star rating - but something to be aware of.

Firstly I decided to have solar panels system installed I ended up going with EVERGEN. James the designer arrived at my home + a colleague they talked me through the most ideal package for me. If your like me fedup with the greed nation/ shareholders after more + more of our money to feed their lifestyles. I had enough I want to be in control of how I power my bungalow & where the money goes/investing in my home + the future. We signed up for the finance + a 4 month grace period before the 1st payment is due. James booked the scaffolders. They arrived very pleased with their work next the installation team Andy & Lewis arrived introduced themselves discussed the plan of action kept me informed on every decision they had to make when it involved anything to do with how system would look before they went ahead. They did not stop until the job was done even when we had a slight downpour. They both worked. Absolutely professional engineers all the work looks Amazing. Honestly the installation was smooth hassle free . I would definitely recommend EVERGEN when you decide to go solar.......

We spent over £20,000 on solar panels and a battery with this company , the after care is non existent , a year on & still we are not getting the benefits from our investment. They take your money & give you no help or support after that. Confuse you by sending the wrong information . I strongly recommend not using this company. The stress & financial loss is unbelievable. Shame on you Evergen

Good team work

The Evergen installation team arrived promptly at 8.00am and had the 18 panel system fully functioning in five hours! Thanks to the team, Carl and Scott who toiled on the roof in the rain and Lewis who installed the battery, inverter and gateway in the garage. All were really friendly and polite. Lewis took the time to explain how the system and sigenergy app works. Very helpful!

Liam and Bernard were very efficient at installing and explaining the electrics and solar panels. Very polite and friendly.
