Info for event organisers
I run events and what I found extremely unhelpful was the ticket sale display - it included Eventbrite's fee - which, when trying to analysis sales, is not conductive to managing events. Their fee should be excluded from your ticket sales display.
Concert was postponed
Concert was postponed. I can’t attend the new date. Asked three times for a refund, not even had the courtesy to answer my requests for a refund.
Scam event and Eventbrite refuse to get involved
I booked an event through Eventbrite which turned out to be a scam and they refused to get involved. They also haven’t removed the listing as it’s a monthly recurring event.
The address for the event only gave Main Street, Wicklow town but I thought I would get the full details after booking and I trusted it since I’d used Eventbrite before. Organiser ignored my messages and refund requests, event time has passed without getting any details. Eventbrite still insist that it’s between me and the organiser even though they refuse to reply.

India Day in Farmleigh...what a disappointment advertised to have food and indian crafts as well as entertainment... absolutely nothing just music and a small amount of dancing in a badly lit stage
..stall was a solar panel company and a car sales company....totally inappropriate for a cultural day....no crafts and food queues ridiculous and expensive....totally incorrectly advertised...no one I spoke to was happy....only saving grace was it was good weather....will not trust Eventbrite ads ever again.

Absolutely shocking price for a 5 minute visit to santa in the arklow bay hotel . You get to take a picture in a sleigh then down to a tent where an elf reads a book(what fun) then you get 5 minutes with santa and a pound shop toy unsuitable for the child's age an 8 year old given a plastic pair of binoculars Absolute pure crap.. the santa is nice but experience 😂 you feel ripped off ..save your money and visit anywhere else my child hasn't seen santa in 3 years and it was completely disappointing..I only gave it 2 stars because the santa and Mrs clause really were genuinely kind people.

I bought tickets to an event for my birthday. The total was €110.44. We arrived at the door of the club at 12:03 and we were told they are full up and we are not allowed in. They told us to contact Eventbrite for a refund but still haven’t got any response after 6 days.

Eventbrite stole 134.82€ from my bank account yesterday. I was buying one ticket for 14.98€, but when I checked my online banking, 9 times they took this amount. I only received one ticket. Eventbrites contact number isn't manned, there's only Facebook messenger and the person there assured me the money wouldn't be taken. But it has. I contacted the venue about this and they said Eventbrite often do this. So. Great. They are known to scam and to steal. Gards have been informed.
Dublin True Crime Tour
Dublin True Crime Tour,
Owen gave the tour and it was a very enjoyable 90 minutes. He was very engaging and delivered the detail in an informative and light-hearted manner. Well worth the money.
1 suggestion, an A4 leaflet with a brief description of where we visited and the character mentioned to take away.
