Be careful before purchasing Ticket Protection
I purchased Ticket Protection through Eveenty believing the wording provided at checkout would cover unavoidable travel circumstances preventing attendance.
The policy specifically referenced “travel disruption occurring on the event day,” which reasonably sounded broader than what was later explained to me after I submitted a claim.
After my request was denied, support clarified that “travel disruption” only applies to specific situations such as flight cancellations, delays, severe weather, accidents, or mechanical breakdowns — limitations that were not clearly disclosed in the wording shown during purchase.
What frustrated me most was not just the denial itself, but the inconsistent explanations provided throughout the process and how narrow the interpretation became only after the claim review.
I strongly encourage future customers to ask for the exact definition of coverage before paying extra for Ticket Protection.
