Despite making my enquiry on a bank holiday. The reply was very quick and explained very simply what I should do
Charger stopped working, another program took over without permission! EV got the show rolling again, great app, the best for me and even better superb support.
Comprehensive, clear and quick response.

I spent over £1,000 having a home EV charger supplied and fitted by EV Energy. Less than three years later, it has completely stopped working with no power at all.
The issue itself is frustrating, but the bigger problem has been the communication and handling of it. After more than a week of back-and-forth, I was told I needed to arrange an electrician myself, pay a £45 call-out fee, have the unit opened up, find an internal code, test the electrics, and provide photo evidence.
I understand products can go wrong. What I do not think is acceptable is the lack of urgency or clear communication when a customer is left without a working charger.
My wife relies on this car for full-time work and regularly drives long distances, so being unable to charge at home has caused serious inconvenience. We supplied the evidence they requested three days ago and have still had no meaningful reply or clear plan for what happens next.
Based on my experience, I would not buy from this company again. The aftercare has been poor, slow, and frustrating at a time when we needed proper support.

Had reply from Ev energy to my original email and followed all the reset instructions from EV ,but made no difference, the “off peak charging toggle” is still not showing the app, contacted the support team again but have no response

My CT energy company partners with ev.energy for the managed charging program. Unfortunately without my knowledge we were removed from the managed charging program and eversource told me to contact ev.energy to get back online. The ev.energy app has not been able to load a new charger we installed. As part of their steps to get back online they deleted put old profile with a previous charger so I can add the new charger. But none of their steps provided has worked. I took screenshots of every step, sent them to ev.energy. and after back and forth over two days ev.energy has stopped responding to me. Have messaged them twice with no response, and unfortunately there is no one else to contact. Sucks!

Had an issue and it was dealt with and resolved very quickly. Always very friendly.

This app kept starting the charger on my Tesla outside the window set in my Tesla. This was a problem because I have off peak electricity pricing. Also the time it started to charge prevented any chance of receiving the app promised rewards. The app also kept disconnecting. So odd.
User beware. Also could linking this app open an opportunity for someone to back door link to your car?

Very slow response time. I have waited days for a reply to my emails whilst my customer's EV charger was not working. If you aren't going to have a phone number or chatbot for customers to talk to then at least you could respond to emails on the same day.

Having started to experiences issue with the App and my charger, I emailed EV Energy for support. Over the past week I have email 15 times, with only two replies from them. It is very frustrating as email is their only method of communications. I am now in a situation whereby we cannot use our charger (a house with one EV and one hybrid). I am shocked with this level of Customer Service. I can only hope they spot this review and decide to reply to my emails!

I had a problem with my charger not being able to trickle charge. I emailed ev.energy, they responded within 2 working days with some questions and the problem was solved the same day, even responding out of hours. Great service. I would recommend them to anyone that asked

Good app with plenty of usability and information without being burdensome.
Use it to smart charge a Skoda Enyaq via a Rolec home charger.
Support from ev.energy is excellent. I recently got in touch after switching back to Octopus Agile. I wanted the app to follow my regional rates rather than the national average. They sorted it within an hour. Perhaps we can have the a sub-menu option for users to select regions themselves?
ev.energy also supported me when I was investigating a connectivity problem which turned out to be a hardware fault. Not the app.
Yes, I would recommend to others, plus they send me a £5 Amazon voucher after every 30 smart-charges. Amazing! How does that work? From a free app!
