Week Car Rental
Booked online 2 months in advance. Arrived at the airport around 8pm - the office was a stones throw from the airport.
Had a Skoda Fabia in great condition, clean, spacious and perfect for the island.
Great service when both picking the car up, and dropping it off. There’s free WiFi in the office and a WhatsApp number linked straight to the manager if you ever have any issues once you’re on the island. Would 100% recommend, great value for money!

Rent directly with Europcar! Helpful service.
We booked through Easy Car, which was a mistake, and ended up having our booking cancelled, losing the fee that we had already paid. Europcar couldn't do anything about it, unfortunately. Helen was the representative that assisted us. She was friendly and helped us as much as possible. She quickly rented us a car and advised us on which insurances to purchase. We were very happy with her service and everyone at the office.

When i rented a car, and payed it, from home, it said in the agrement thet the car would be at "meet and greet", but there was no one from europcar to be seen.
I looked for them for a while, and then called them, and THEN they send a transfer-bus
Then they try to cheat me into bying some sort of ensurance, almost the same price as i payed, in advance, for renting a car for a week, so i called the danish branch, whitch i had worked for previosly, and they recommendet that i canceled the rental.
So i did.
I don't understand why europcar let these fraudsters use their name...

Sooooo painfully slow and the longest slowest moving queue in history. Staff are brain-dead barely functioning zombies, who knows if I'll ever actually get my car to advise on that. It is literally about to be a day later since I joined the line for my car. The people at Athens airport are wholly incompetent

I had full coverage insurance they gave me a wrong invoice for a minor damage they charged my credit card $412 and in the invoice that I had to submit to my insurance they wrote $350 I kept sending them messages to write the whole amount of $412 in the invoice so my insurance reimburse me for the whole amount but they ignored my messages. Now my claim is on hold because of them. If I knew I would not rent from them their price is much higher than other companies in Greece maybe around 4 times
Very good experience for renting a car…
Very good experience for renting a car in Thessaloniki airport. The agency is not inside the airport but the shuttle offers a back and forth from the airport to the agency out of charge. Very good service, fast and efficient!

Horrible experience. The company knowingly gave me a car that had been broken into before and had damaged locks. Unfortunately that was not visible at delivery. Ended up getting robbed of my suitcase from inside the car.
unpleasant transaction with KINSEN HELLAS EUROPECAR
Booking through booking.com for ford fiesta, they gave me mitsubish space which had worn tires and due to poor maintenance the car was making noises. I asked for another vehicle but they told me that was all they had. In other words, they gave me a smaller category vehicle with problems because that's all they had. Then it was very slow progress to receive the car in Athens airport "Eleftherios Venizelos". One person only for service and I was about 40 minutes late to pick up the car.

Great service! I asked for a car at the last minute on Saturday morning and I called the phone number of Andreas who I found out that he was not working on that day but still he never told me this and he got in touch with his colleague at the airport and found me a very good and safe car. Daffy also at the airport was very kind and polite. I definitely recommend them for your car rental in Alexandroupolis.

Scam artists
Scam artists. Do not prepay for your booking! Once they have your money they will use every trick they can come up with to avoid giving you a car and make you pay again. I ended up paying almost triple the amount I had originally agreed to. And they are extremely impolite.
Did not get my money back
Unfortunately, I also had bad experiences. The car was exchanged on the spot and I was suddenly asked to deposit over 1000 euros because the first car had to be checked. I just had a debit card for this. It has now been over a month since the vacation. I have never received a response from Europcar, nor have I received any money. It was all pretty bad.

The car provided
The car provided, the gear shifter gattor would regually fall of, they are not at Rhoads airport but a 15 minute drive away, I had to wait over an hour to be collected before i could get my car. Even though I paid top money to have no deposit they still took a deposit. I have been back from my holiday for a month and I still have not had my deposit back. I will not be renting from these guys again.

Europcar needs to be signposted when you exit the airport, car was ready when we arrived but was dented and for the money we paid we expected better, its annoying when you book a jeep and get another car and they cover it by saying equivalent. We didn't realise how bad the roads are in Santorini so be careful about the car you choose as we were warned about any extra charges for any dents or scratches. You could quite easily get car damaged in the car parks. Luckily all ok and Alexia was very polite helpful and efficient and made our first experience in Santorini all good.

This car rental company uses dishonest tactics and tries to exploit customers' emergency situations to make extra money. As described in a previous review, we were also charged €188 (!!!) in addition to €290 deposit because we didn’t know the PIN of our credit card and only had a debit card available. The lady at the reception assured us when asked that we would get the money back after returning the car. Unfortunately, this was a lie. I can only warn others about this scam!!!
Beware you are signing an impossible set of T&C's...
I regularly hire cars through work and use Europcar, I believed it to be standard practice for fair wear & tear to be part of any rental contract, but beware this is not the case. You are signing a contract simply saying you will return the car in "the condition you received it" with no allowance for anything else. This is literally impossible if you plan to actually drive the car.
As with other people's experience, upon returning the car they tried to make up new damage that they claimed wasn't there on collection (a <2cm mark on the bottom of the front bumper). I was very lucky in that you could just see the damage on their collection videos, and they eventually gave up trying to pursue me for this, but only after 30 minutes of arguing, whilst trying to keep our 20 month old son calm and obviously needing to catch a flight.
I cannot advise strongly enough not to use this service, and to pick a provider with a more flexible set of T&C's, but if you do insist on using Europcar you must take photos and videos of EVERY INCH of the vehicle on collection.
