Not warm... zero tog rating.
My review is for the navy bottle blanket/quilt, which I've owned for 6mths now. I've placed reviews on the ethical bedding website but they haven't been published for some reason?
I've owned the blanket which is actually a quilt for 6mths now.
The only thing good about it is it's size.
It doesn't weigh anything at all and won't keep you warm. All the tiny white fibres have come through to the surface... And the navy has faded to a dirty dull blue.
Grossly overpriced and not fit for purpose.
Love this bedding
Love this bedding. You pay for what you get. It’s like sleeping on a cloud. The bedding is cool on touch but warm and cosy, so I’ve bought more

I ordered the soft/medium bamboo…
I ordered the soft/medium bamboo pillows in June, and due to a supply issue the pillows took longer than first thought to arrive. I was kept up to date with delivery and given a £20 voucher too. Once the pillows eventually arrived they were a perfect addition to my medium/firm bamboo pillow. Both are absolutely amazing to sleep on, the soft one is like a squishy mash mellow and the firm ones are a soft cloud. Both are amazing 🤩.

Missing order
Like previous customers have mentioned, I’ve received frequent emails asking if I’m sleeping well with my new product, but still no sign of it! Have had 2 follow-up emails advising that dispatch was delayed, but both those deadlines have been missed.
These are expensive products and customer service should be a lot better. Still don’t know if I’m going to receive the order I placed on 12th December…
Brilliant silk eye mask
Really lovely silk eye mask which is very comfortable to wear and blocks out the light 100%

Zero customer service and faulty product…
Zero customer service and response to emails. My disabled daughter bought another set of bedding and the bedding went bobbly after 1 wash. I emailed to enquire what has happened as its expensive stuff and she has a sensory disorder which now renders her almost brand new expensive bedding almost useless to her. Really sad they cannot be bothered to respond in any way to help resolve this.
Great experience, will buy again
I bought bedsheets and a sleeping mask, all excellent products, soft and luxurious. I'm always looking for more ethical options and given the great experience I had with the website, delivery etc. I will definitely be making more purchases!

I didn’t get part of my order and NO REFUND
I didn’t get part of my order: some arrived, but not the rest. Emailed twice and no reply.
Requested a refund : no reply
Plenty of emails from marketing about how happy I should be with my new products.
But no CUSTOMER SERVICE whatsoever
DO NOT USE!
Delighted - suits my head and my body
Appreciated being able to purchase bedding that feels good to my principles and my body.
The customer service leaves a lot to be…
The customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I have emailed twice about returning an item I ordered incorrectly in order to swap it and have not had a response.

Duvet and pillow cases - Love them
I have just put onto our bed the new duvet and we love it. It feels wonderful and light but still warm and cosy and the fabric the exterior is made from is so soft it feels like silk. I then sent for two pillowcases and they are exactly the same and feel like silk against my face when I am in bed - a wonderful product

Nothing else will do!
So soft on the bed and also on the planet! I have now been back for more three times! Nothing else will do.

Lied About Certifications
Lied about being certified by the Vegan Society and PETA. Their products used 'peace silk' which is also not vegan.
They are amounting a substantial amount of evidence of 'greenwashing' - as shown by the continual abuse of vegan charities' trademarks.
I would question the integrity and validity of their other claims - and any trademark or certification they claim to have until proof is provided for those too.
I am currently awaiting a response from regulatory bodies regarding the misuse of charity certificates and trademarks.
I am an advocate for companies that prioritise ethical and sustainable products, recognising that it is commendable when a business places the planet above profit.
I was initially heartened to see numerous certifications such as B-Corp status and ‘1% For The Planet’ on Ethical Bedding’s website, including the Vegan Society trademark.
However, upon discovering that Ethical Bedding utilised silk—a material contrary to vegan principles—I reached out to the Vegan Society for clarification. To my dismay, I learned that Ethical Bedding has neither permission nor authorisation to use the Vegan Society trademark.
More concerning is that Ethical Bedding explicitly states on their website that they are ‘certified by the Vegan Society’—a statement that has proven to be false.
The Vegan Society trademark is a symbol of trust for vegans, assuring that a product aligns with their dietary needs, lifestyle, and ethical values. The misuse of this trademark not only undermines this trust but also raises questions about what other claims might be exaggerated or untruthful. ‘Greenwashing’ and the manipulation of our perceptions hinder our ability to make genuinely sustainable and ethical choices.
I urge everyone to support products that reduce plastic use and promote sustainability, and that are free from the mistreatment, abuse, and exploitation of animals—including humans.
Yet, Ethical Bedding’s blatant misuse and abuse of a trademark without the consent of the owning organisation sets a dangerous precedent and reveals a troubling lack of transparency.
I am prepared to share the correspondence from the Vegan Society detailing their pursuit of this trademark infringement.
The email responses I received directly from the owner were rather worrying also. Perhaps you should just look up an interview with them as a character reference then decide for yourself if you can trust what this company tells you and sells you.

Response to reply from 'Ethical' Bedding:

Your response fails to address the main issue: your false claims of Vegan Society certification. The Vegan Society has confirmed you do not have their permission to use their trademark, making your statements misleading. You continued to advertise and claim that you were certified as vegan by The Vegan Society despite knowing you were not.
Additionally, your use of silk in your bedding directly contradicts your vegan claims, undermining both the ethical and vegan principles you purport to uphold.
I've also informed PETA about your misleading claims and affiliations. They will likely review the situation to ensure there are no false associations with their name. Thank you for informing me of another misuse of a trademark.
I urge readers to watch the alleged ethical bedding owner's "Dragon’s Den" pitch. The video reveals an alarming detachment from reality and bizarre claims, casting serious doubt on your business and its integrity.
I am baffled as to why the company use this as some sort of marketing or endorsement. I wish I had watched the pitch prior to wasting my time perusing your products.
Given these issues, I call for transparency regarding your certifications and ethical claims. Your track record of misinformation necessitates clear, verifiable proof.
I am glad to have stumbled across this company - in order to flag the misuse of trademarks and the misleading claims - to protect consumers and respected charities.
Other than that, it's been a nightmare.
(As of 6 September 2024 - I have had a confirmation from PETA that 'Ethical Bedding' indeed DO NOT have any authorisation or permission to use their trademark and are not certified by PETA.)

Disappointed
I’m a side sleeper and often wake up with lines down my face which can take a few hours to disappear. I was recommended the Eucalyptus silk pillowcase, which I ordered. My order arrived quickly and very well packaged and environmentally friendly so that is a plus for me. But unfortunately the pillowcases for me have not lived up to my expectations. I still feel warm and wake up with lines down my face. For me I feel a little let down.

Quality pillow cases
Great experience. The website is clear and easy to use. Purchasing was quick and simple, and I had my pillow cases delivered within 48 hours. I've had the pillow cases for about 2 months now and they are great quality, soft, comfortable, durable and easy to wash on a delicate cycle. My sleep has improved and my skin is having fewer issues after waking up. Thank you.

Really pleased with bedding best we have ever had,
Stitched corner on fitted sheet looks to be outside which is strange and stitching on topper not straight
Otherwise bedding is really comfy looks great and we will be ordering more.

Insanely soft and amazing smelling - best bedding I’ve ever had
Literally the softest and most natural smelling bedding I’ve ever come across. My whole room smells like eucalyptus and the sheets are so silky. Worth every penny!!

Not Impressed
Another company that overpromises and underdelivers with its clever marketing. “Eucalyptus Silk” is just a fancy name for Lyocell which is a synthetic material. The texture is not even silky at all, especially after washing. The material is also extremely hot. I wake up sweating in the night now and it’s only April. I bought it because I thought it would help make me cooler and now I am dreading the summer. My husband says this bedding is a downgrade from our previous linen set from Crate & Barrel and I have to agree. Worst of all they do not offer returns on used bedding so now I am stuck with it. Stick with companies that offer a “100 Night Guarantee” or similar in case you don’t like it. I regret spending so much money on this company.

Ethically disappointed
I've spent a small fortune on a duvet & flat/fitted sheets that I've discovered I'm allergic to. Emailed ethical bedding to be told they are all made up the same in exactly the same way process wise. This is not plausible as sheets are shiny n silky and a rose colour duvet is soft brushed material in silver so if nothing else the dye process will be different. I've been told they don't refund on used products. How your supposed to know if bed linen works for you without trying it I don't know? I have discovered that my nightly over heating is not down to menopause, mattress protectors duvet etc etc but all my ethical bedding as my sheets which I've had for years bamboo from Between The Sheets are fine and the new Bamboo CosyHouse Superking cover is ace n no over heating whatsoever. I also have 2 eucalyptus single covers for weighted blankets from Bambaw i have no issues with! I suspect something in the ethical manufacturing of their eucalyptus make up probably nylon as the prickly heat sensation is exactly what happens to my skin with nylon is the issue. Being disabled and on benefits these were exceptionally costly for me to buy. However, when you suffer with issues due to your skin sensitivities you try what you can to alleviate it as much as possible. So I now have almost 400 quids worth of Bedlinen that's sitting in my blanket box utterly useless to me as they won't refund. Strange as the mattress topper I purchased from PandaLondon is being refunded no questions asked it doesn't suit so its going back no quibble. I won't be using Ethical again
