I purchased a reclaimed wood table from…

I purchased a reclaimed wood table from Eternity Modern and shortly after delivery a large crack developed along the full length of one of the table legs. This is not a small cosmetic hairline crack — it is a deep split running down a load-bearing part of the table and raises concerns about the structural integrity of the piece.
When I contacted customer support, they dismissed the issue as a “natural characteristic of reclaimed wood” caused by humidity and temperature changes and suggested using a touch-up kit. However, the crack continues down the entire leg and appears to be separating along the grain.
Given the price and expectations of quality furniture, a structural split in a primary support component is not acceptable. I provided photos and explained the severity, but the company has refused to provide a repair or replacement and continues to characterize the defect as normal wood movement.
I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the product and the company’s unwillingness to properly address what appears to be a clear defect.

Had a sales person quote me 7 days delivery of a couch. I proceed with the purchase and cut a built in desk out of my living room only to find out she lied and production is 14 weeks. Absolutely criminal. Do not purchase anything from this company. Take your time and do some research and you will see they have nothing but negative reviews. Had to cancel the order and now I’m stuck with a massive void in my living room.

Iconic Design, Exceptional Quality, & Seamless Experience

I recently received the Corbusier Basculant Sling Chair from Eternity Modern — and I couldn’t be more impressed. The build quality is outstanding: the chrome-plated tubular-steel frame feels both robust and elegant, while the saddle-leather seat has a rich, smooth finish that immediately conveys premium craftsmanship.

What really stood out beyond the product was Eternity Modern’s service: communication was clear, friendly, and responsive throughout the ordering process, and shipping was smooth and timely. The chair arrived well-packaged and exactly as described.

Terrible Delivery Team!

Delivery guys didn't know how to install the pieces. And it was a stone coffee table that had a solid stone base to it. They weren't able to lift it themselves up to the 2nd floor and we had to help with the delivery which is absurd. they they didnt know how to install the piece and we had to read and explain instructions to them. The product is good, delivery team terrible!

Chair that I received was excellent quality and well packed. Customer Service is friendly and generally helpful. Shipping time is crazy long considering the product cost and shipping pricing. Expect to wait a few months for them to fill a shipping container from China. Then the product will sit in customs in LA. Not ideal considering the high product prices. Clearly no inventory in the US.

Expensive Chair Broke After 3 Years - Poor Quality

I purchased an Eames replica chair from Eternity Modern. After only 3 years and several months of normal use in my home, the chair completely collapsed while my husband was sitting on it.

The break clearly shows poor workmanship and manufacturing defects - this was not normal wear and tear or user damage. For an expensive piece of furniture marketed as quality, this is an unacceptably short lifespan.

When I contacted the company for a refund, they refused because their warranty is only 3 years. While I understand warranty limitations, a chair breaking like this due to manufacturing defects is unreasonable. The defect obviously existed from the beginning - quality furniture should last much longer than 3 years with normal residential use.
I have clear photographic evidence of the poor construction quality revealed by the break. For the premium prices Eternity Modern charges, I expected far better quality. Customer service offered a 15% discount, but that doesn't cut it for the cost of this chair ($2k!) and the poor quality.

I cannot recommend this company. If you're looking for replica mid-century modern furniture, I'd suggest looking elsewhere for better quality and a company that stands behind their products beyond just the minimum warranty period.

Eternity Modern – Looks good online, nightmare in real life

Ordered 2 tables.
✅ First one fine.
❌ Second one arrived with black marks – they claimed it was “part of the style” (it wasn’t).

Asked for a return:
• Pay shipping yourself (hundreds $)
• They can refuse the return even after receiving it
• No clear refund timeline

Instead of helping, they discouraged every step.
Never again.

If you value your money and peace of mind, think twice before buying from Eternity Modern.

Hi Michel,

You ordered a wabi-sabi coffee table, a piece made from reclaimed wood. Our website describes the aesthetic as "showcasing natural variations in texture, colour, grain, and imperfections like knots, cracks, or warping." According to our records, a replacement order was offered and a resolution was reached. Kindly.

Terrible delivery process

Fastfrate, the Trucking Company Eternity Modern used to send me my loveseat, sent me an email the DAY BEFORE DELIVERY with THREE documents saying if I did not sign them, they would not deliver the product! After waiting four months to finally get the product, they give me 24 hours to fill out multiple documents. What if I didn't have a printer!!

When I tried to open the other two attachments, they were CORRUPT and could not be opened or read. I had to call them three times to tell
they I could not open them. They tried to email the documents THREE
times and each time I could not open them but kept insisting I had to sign them to get my sofa delivered. Corrupt files!

The third document was the Damage Waiver which I could read and it stated they were not responsible for any damage to my property.- RUGS, WALLS ETC.

THEY WERE NOT EVEN COMING INTO MY HOUSE- IT WAS "CURBSIDE DELIVERY"- they were delivering it to my front door so why do they need a damage waiver?

I finally had to phone them and ask to have them scan and email the information!!

Last time I ordered from Eternity Modern, five years ago, I DID NOT have to jump
through these hoops to get a basic
delivery. The delivery rep I was trying
to deal with did not speak English
well and misspelled our delivery
address AND our Postal Code on the
Damage Waiver so I had to phone a
fourth time to get that straightened
out so they would come to the correct
address which could have been disappointing after waiting 4 months
for the product.
After all that hassle, the driver didnt even ask to sign the waiver.
Receiving a delivery should NOT be this difficult or stressful. The sofa arrived extremely well packaged to protect the contents in a wood framed crate but it took two hours to unpack with a crowbar and cut up all the wood and cardboard for garbage collection.

Ultimately, this MIA loveseat is beautiful. It is a sleek modern design & appears to be very well made. The velvet is gorgeous but the seating is "hard as a rock". It is supposed to be foam wrapped in down feathers but it is not at all comfortable like my
other furniture with foam wrapped in down feathers. It is not "medium soft" as advertised which is the disadvantage of buying furniture online. Hopefully it will soften with use!

Unfortunately, when buying from Eternity Modern, the delivery company is the ONLY direct communication you can have with a live person. If that person or company offers poor customer service, it reflects poorly on the company selling the product.

Shipping scam for repairs

I bought the tired man chair in sheepskin for almost $3000. After five months use the front leg fell off - the screw is stripped and cannot be re-attached. Customer service decided to send me "upgraded" front feet. That word shows there is a known problem with this chair being cheaply made.

But the kicker is the shipping cost for this "free replacement under warranty" - $84.28!! Ridiculous for something that can't weigh 5 pounds. I'm disgusted with this company. I would not advise anyone to use them, you can find the same chair on multiple sites.

Reply from Eternity Modern

Hi Judy,
Thank you for your feedback.
This is an unprecedented report of damage concerning our Tired Man Chair. As previously explained via email, our warranty policy clearly states:
"Depending on the issue, we may, at our discretion, provide replacement parts, arrange repairs, or offer a full replacement. Eternity Modern will supply replacement parts, with an estimated lead time of 8–14 weeks. Customers are responsible for any labor and shipping & handling costs associated with the replacement or parts."
You contacted us after approximately six months of use, reporting that two of the chair’s legs were broken. Without hesitation, we offered to replace the damaged legs at no cost.
Please note that no damage was reported at the time of delivery.
Regarding shipping, the cost is determined by the carrier, not by us. The quoted rate to ship two wooden legs from overseas is $84.28.
We appreciate your understanding and remain committed to resolving this matter with you.

Chaotic mess - 5k down and still no furniture

So far I have had nothing but a complete nightmare with this store. I ordered two custom chairs at over $5k back in November 2024, the whole process has been impossible and mystifying. I asked for clarity on dimensions and did not receive anything, it is now almost March and they have not even begun to make the chairs. I was told 9 weeks for delivery when I ordered them in November and it’s going to be another 3-4 months from now apparently, so a 6-7 month lead time. The communication has been abysmal and I have no idea whether to give up at this point or keep going. This is to say nothing of the final outcome or what the chairs will be like. They won’t give exact dimensions and are just saying I have to basically take the risk. On top of everything I’m an interior designer and this entire fiasco has essentially destroyed a job I was doing for which these chairs were the main focal point. I’m exasperated and will never use again. Furthermore the store associate has been uncommunicative, rude, and also asked me to communicate with him via text (very strange), and then recently berated me for texting him for an update about the order - when I would always prefer email as a standard method of communication. The whole thing seems completely chaotic and disorganised. Do not recommend! If I ever get these chairs and they are beautiful, I will update this review!

Reply from Eternity Modern

Hi Sarah,
We sincerely apologize for the miscommunication and the way we handled your order. The factory encountered several issues in trying to fulfill your custom dimension order for the Tired Man Chair.
Because the base is made of fibreglass, creating a new mould would have been required. After extensive back-and-forth communication with the factory, it was ultimately decided to issue a full refund, as the custom dimensions were still pending approval and the factory was unable to proceed with the project.
Thank you for your understanding, and we truly regret any inconvenience caused.

Fake copies from China

Very disappointing. They are selling fake copies of true Scandinavian design, made in China and Vietnam. For example they pretend to be selling the Arne Norell Sirocco chair, but it's just a fake copy that has nothing to do with the original chair or design.

Hi Philip Möller,
We would like to clarify, once again, that we don't sell the original or say we sell the original.
Under the product name, in caps, you can see we say it is a reproduction of an iconic design from 1960.
The design we sell is an inspiration from his designs and the use of leather.
We appreciate your feedback and understand your concerns about the use of the original designer's name - please note that we reference the names of original designers for our reproduction pieces to pay homage to their talent and creativity. We do not intend to mislead or misrepresent - we have reproduction disclaimers on all pieces that are not our own original designs.
As for the Sirocco chair, we respect your feedback and will be removing the designer's name from the product title. We acknowledge that our version is not identical to the original work and is more of an 'inspired by' piece.

NEVER ORDER FROM HERE

If I could give Eternity Modern a zero-star rating, I would. My husband and I were gifted the Kaia Marble Plinth Coffee Table as a wedding present, and we were excited to add this beautiful piece of furniture to our home. However, when it arrived, it was cracked all around.

I attempted to resolve the issue with their customer service. I sent photos and engaged in multiple exchanges, but they kept insisting that the damage was "normal" and part of the "marble characteristics." Having grown up in a family with a construction business for over 30 years and having done several home remodels myself, I recognize the difference between something that is broken, cracked, or simply part of the natural look of the material.

After much back and forth, they eventually agreed to allow me to return the coffee table--but I was told I would be responsible for the return shipping costs. Considering that this coffee table weighs 600 pounds, the return shipping costs would have amounted to nearly the same price as the table itself. This left me with no choice but to keep the damaged product, which is now sitting in my living room, cracked.

What was supposed to be a sentimental wedding gift has turned into a source of frustration. I am extremely angry, disappointed, and disgusted with how they conduct their business. I hope nobody else has to go through this experience.

I have a set of Mario Bellini sectional pieces and they are great, high quality and very nice looking. My only desired improvement would be to not have to wait for custom manufacturing but I understand that storing furniture pre created would probably increase the cost. If there's any way they could speed up manufacturing/delivery without increasing price, I would be very happy. All in all worth the wait though!
