Convenient and quick way to get a title from another state. Customer service was five stars, I just wish I had a tracking number and knew it was coming from FedEx.

Etag service is efficient
Etag service is efficient. I appreciate the courtesy and promptness. My only concern when I used the service was if it was legitimate. Once I requested the service I was a little concerned, with all the scamming going on, however I was patient and braced myself and realized that eTag went through all the security steps. Thank you for your services!
Beware of incompetence and deceit.
Staff couldn't understand simple queries concerning which documents to send. Also, at the end of the process, after uploading documents you have to pay Fed Ex to ship the actual docs that you have uploaded (hidden cost). There were big problems with the automated support line too. Once it wouldn't accept keyboard entries. Then it told me to contact them during regular hours (9-5) when it was 2pm. The branch I was dealing with is in the same time-zone as I. Worst I followed a link from a what looked to be an official NY online registration, but also contained a link to eTags which is obviously a scam.
I got them but my neighbor
I got them, but from my neighbor. The address on the return envelope was wrong.

I would give them zero stars if I could
I would give them zero stars if I could. Absolutely horrible customer service with people who are probably not even in the US because 99% of the time you can’t understand the person you’re talking to when you call in to speak to customer service. Expensive and the process takes so long. I’m almost 2 weeks into the process and still don’t have my title and my vehicle is still not registered and I’ve paid $400. Do yourself a favor and just go to the DMV it might take you all day but do not give these people one cent of your money.
I think this whole idea is disgusting
I think this whole idea is disgusting. . . older people, or people who are tired or stressed DO NOT notice that this is not actually DMV. It is predatory. . . I called DMV to complain, there is nothing they can do, etags pays google to be at the top of searches. . . etag owners start a real business that does good . . . just not needed because you can do it on the actual DMV site. Also, no way to actually talk to a person. My car is still not registered at the DMV and it has been three days. disgusted.
Easy and they came fast thank you
I am a senior and a veteran
I am a senior and a veteran, and I walked away from this feeling taken advantage of. I was charged $197.76 for a “title service” that required me to sign a power of attorney and mail in my original Florida title — a setup I found unreasonable and unsafe, especially for seniors. I told them that and immediately completed the transaction myself directly with the official DMV/Tax Collector instead, which created a double billing. I asked to cancel the eTags charge within minutes, but they refused to reverse it.
In my case, no service of value was provided: they did not process my title, and I did not sign their POA or mail them my title. Yet they kept the full $197.76.
Because of this, I have disputed the charge with American Express, and I am filing complaints with the Florida Attorney General and the Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services, along with a detailed complaint to the BBB. I am also sharing public reviews describing my experience and pointing readers to the existing media coverage and consumer complaints about their “crazy service fees” and how the service is presented. See Action News Jax for details.
Be Careful - They don't help with errors
I have used this service multiple times in the past with no problem. I recently purchased a new vehicle and used eTags to register it. I accidentally typed in a license plate number wrong, but had the correct VIN. eTags did not catch it, and the vehicle type matched mine. They processed the order, but then asked me a few days later to "verify" the information before they could do anything. So I sent them my previous registration. They let me know I had entered the wrong license and then told me that they had sent the money to DMV, and nothing could be done about it. They said I could get a refund from DMV, but that was a lie. DMV said they do not refund for errors. Allowing people to accidentally pay for the wrong vehicle seems like a checks-and-balances thing. If there were errors in registration information, why would they already send the money and then let me know after? It doesn't make any sense. I will never use them again.
Ordered 2- year renewal
Ordered 2- year renewal. They stated missing information. Provided said information. Sent a replacement instead of what I ordered. When I phoned, they said it was my problem. They refused to refund. I will no longernuse their service. What a rip-off!!!!
