Left stranded with my 8 year old son for the sake of 50 cents
This company left me and my son stranded 100km from home for the sake of 50 cents.
ESB use their government sponsored monopoly to treat their customers like dirt.
I had €4.50 left in my account, and was not able to top it up because my debit card had been hacked and I had to cancel it. I gave them details by phone of my new card, but was not able to fully verify at the time. ESB refused to let me use the money left in my account to charge my car and get home.
The agent I spoke, Erin, simply said there was nothing she could do and then when I got frustrated, hung up.
They call this customer service. They know we have no choice but to use them because of their monopoly.
Disgraceful!
