Malicious practices

I have had the worst experience working with this company. I first reached out 2/25/2025 to resolve my account. I spoke with Trisha with Elite and she was incredibly rude. I called to ask if there was any way I could make a deal to settle the account. She then asked me why I needed to clear the debt, was purchasing a home? (why would she even need this information?) She told me that she was making a note that no one could negotiate with me and tried to intimidate me into paying the account in full. I ended up going back to the original company who sold the debt to Elite (Princeton Property Management) 2/26/2025 to see if I they would work with me. I was told to email Elite support, which I did 2/26/2025, I received a response from Alicia Flores same day. I paid the account off 3/7/2025. I have tried calling and emailing Alicia several times requesting a Balance Status Update letter, which she has completely ignored. My loan officer has also tried reaching out to Alicia with no response. I have paid off several collection accounts and have never experienced anything like this. This company is maliciously holding accounts hostage and in limbo, regardless of the account being settled in full. I understand why people refuse to work with them. It seems to be company practice to berate and intimidate and hold you hostage for money they didn't even pay to obtain the account. This company empowers it's employees to disregard anyone who they think has an "attitude" and they will note on your account to ignore you. What kind of practice is that, to someone who has done their part and paid the debt. Beyond disgusted and so happy to never work with these people again.
