Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 78 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers found the service to be useless and a sham, expressing frustration with the booking process for airport lounges, often finding them unavailable even months in advance. People frequently reported being denied entry to lounges despite having passes, with some locations like Manchester Airport T2 being particularly problematic. The customer service was widely described as non-existent, unhelpful, and difficult to reach, with many complaints about ignored emails and unaddressed issues. However, some customers also noted positive experiences with customer service, where representatives took the time to understand and rectify their difficulties, even going above and beyond to assist. A few other people also felt that some lounges, particularly outside the UK, provided good service and complimentary meals.

My account via Barclays Avios Rewards…

My account via Barclays Avios Rewards has never been accessible - Dragonpass helpline told me today (on a recorded call) that "this is Barclays, they keep doing this".Barclays tell me that this is simply untrue. I'd avoid Dragonpass at all costs, they are clearly inept or dishonest. Reflects very poorly on Barclays Bank too.

Pre booked two spaces at Gatwick north…

Pre booked two spaces at Gatwick north plaza lounge. Missed the 1 hour slot by 3 mins due to train cancelled and wife on crutches ( extra security ). Was refused entry AND LOST TWO VISIT PASSES as well as the additional £10 fee. Was told DragonPass would refund, but they have refused. Awful card, awful service, misinformation, avoid them…

A waste of money

Sadly having an airport pass is just not worth it. During the winter when few people travel you can usually access the lounges but from now onwards (February) you have to book which means spending money on something you’ve already bought! It’s deteriorated in the last few years because of holiday companies selling access as part of holidays. We usually have a light snack and a coffee so not trying to drink the bar dry like so many others. Frustrating, annoying and not fit for purpose. Avoid.

Dragon pass is not a legitimate company....beware!

Loaded the app and was shown by the concierge that we have 2 free passes with our World Elite Mastercard. Dragonpass still charged $68USD for the visit that was suppose to be free. The "contact us" number on the Dragon Pass app not for Dragonpass but rather directs you to Mastercard and they could not help. Even the email address provided by my Mastercard contact responded stating that they can't help as they are in the UK. There is NO WAY to contact Dragon Pass!!!!

This is a total SCAM and Mastercard should be leery of endorsing / supporting this sort of money grab unless, as I suspect, that they are in on it. Maybe it is time to look at Visa.

There are no words to describe how bad…

There are no words to describe how bad this is. Booking needed at least 48 hours in advance and it never works anyway. The lounges themselves if you ever manage to get in are not great. The staff are poorly trained.

Scammers

Scammers. You cant book a lounge with this company. I’ve just tried every date in the next month at Manchester airport but showing as full when using the Dragonpass booking portal.
Try booking direct however and plenty availability on every date I checked.
Disgusting company providing no service at all for a fee!

Avoid DragonPass

What an appalling service. Declined entrance but bank says the card has no block on it. The QR code is generated on the App but the scanner declines it for no reason.

Getting worse & worse

Also very disappointed that there was no lounge at Santiago airport, a major capital city! Flying from Luton this week & the Aspire lounge has closed & Dragon Pass not offering the alternative Club Rooms. Same happened in Rhodes last year. Has become a much less valuable & useful service. So very unhappy & disappointed

Wow 1.3* out of 5 .

Wow 1.3* out of 5 .. surprised they have that many!
I signed up for 1 year via Regus for a fee then £19 per visit. I bought 4 visits and have used 3 so far. I tried to buy another 3 visits online via my account and each visit cost was £24? I contacted Dragonpass and they replied that they were sorry but they had put the cost up from £19 to £24? How can they put the price up when I am half way through a year contract? I wouldn't have signed up if they had said £19 per visit but hey we may increase to £24 half way through your contract. Unbelievable. I am not buying any more visits out of principle and will not be renewing with Dragon Pass. The other problem is Loveholidays have done a deal for free lounge access so the last 3 times I have tried to use my pass visits the lounge has been full up and I couldn't get in! Unfortunately Priority Pass are just as bad if not worse. I lost 6 visits during Covid and they would not honour any of them even though I could not travel.

I agree with all the reviews below

I agree with all the reviews below. Impossible to book a slot using a Dragon Pass during the past year. (before one could just show up on the day and gain access) The Escape lounge at Stansted is always fully booked even a week in advance of travel. Either the Lounge is over subscribed to by Dragon holders or other passes are being given priority.

Absolute garbage product through…

Absolute garbage product through Barclays Banking! In Santiago Chile - Ministro Pistarini Airport, main airport of Chile and Dragon Pass only has 1 lounge in Domestic Flights! Why would a British Bank use such a worthless Product. This is after having issues previously in Munich (one of the main European hubs), whom stated couldn’t use as Britain now not in Shengen Territory! I have 6 passes I have not been able to use each year! Maybe time to move bank as both Dragon Pass and Barclays have little interest to improve coverage!

A valueless "perk" that doesn't work

Impossible to gain access to any lounge. This "perk" is worth nothing because they will tell you that the lounge is at capacity while letting the other guests in. Would only allow pre-booked access which then costs you money.
