The guitar (a Virtuo) is glorious. Transatlantic shipping was painless, even at the holidays, and the Emerald staff are cheerful and responsive.

This is my third Emerald. I already had an custom build X30 and a custom build X7. This time I ordered a purple Amicus from stock. Shipping time was pretty fast. My new Amicus is flawless. So far I've encountered no problems. I have experience with 12 string guitars (I've owned a few different models over the years). I'm still experimenting with the Amicus; trying to find the best ways to utilize it. It plays great and has a truly unique sound. I think as I have some time with it, I'll only grow to like it more.
I'm running out of space for more new instruments, so I'm going to wait awhile, but somewhere down the line, I'll probably round things out with a custom build X20.

I decided to purchase an in stock X20 with the Ghost Pickup system. My preference was the Ghost and K&K. I figured I would install the K&K when it arrived. I was disappointed to find out that the guitar wasn’t prepped to install the K&K during the build. I never got a real answer why the K&K could not be installed.

Communication with Kevin was great. I received my beautiful guitar today and love the ease in which it plays.

I was a little hesitant to make my purchase, because I had never tried or heard the x30 jumbo guitar in person, but after enough research, I felt confident to go forward. I built my guitar through the 3d guitar builder. Everything turned out amazing! I have played a Taylor 410ce for 25 years and I feel that the x30 carbon fiber guitar is very similar in playability! I took the "default" route on all of the guitar specs and I'm really glad I did!

Black Friday sale guitar, packed and shipped the same day as ordered. It arrived in eight days using AnPost and USPS. Beautiful guitar, and we could not ask for more.

My new guitar exudes quality and, apart from a very slight detune on the G string, was perfectly in tune as soon as I took it out of the very nice moulded case that it comes in (those damn G strings).

I went for a fully customised Virtuo and from ordering to receiving it took 53 days, with three update notifications in-between (day 10, 43, and 51).

It was also featured in their weekly shipping video (after it had been delivered).

I, of course, chose courier delivery - I had no intension of trusting our local mail services; otherwise I might still be waiting for it in frustration.

It plays like a dream, is finished to perfection, and I have nothing negative to say.

Just bought a virtuo.Wow! So comfortable to play and so many different sounds. Only problem was deciding which veneer to go for as they all look amazing.

The ability to design the guitar in the 3D builder is awesome. However, it was not indicated in the ordering process that the Hyvibe system is currently having delivery problems. So I've been waiting for my new X7 guitar for 10 weeks now. I hope it will be delivered in time for Christmas. I think it's a shame that support only provides information when asked.

I was skeptical about buying/importing a custom guitar from a firm so far away, without first trying playing it. All those fears were ultimately laid to rest, as my my X-10 Slimline arrived in impeccable condition. Every aspect of the customized guitar build was perfect - the finish, the inlays, the pleked frets, action, electronics. Played my first performance this week and it will be my go to performance guitar becasue it plays easily, sounds wonderful, can be cranked up with no feedback! Communications with the sales staff throughout the build and ship processes was excellent. As advertised, it took 2 months to the day to have the customized guitar in my hands here in the US. The one challenge I have (and this has nothing to do with Emerald) is figuring out how to set up the Emerald's Hexpander and Ghost pickup system with the Roland GR55 Guitar Synth for live performances. The GR55 is not performance friendly, but it would be a great benefit if an Emerald user/musician/sound engineer could perhaps put out a video that details a typical set up between Ghost, Hexpander, GR55, Amps, Mixer, PA. I should point out that the sales and technical staff at Emerald have gone out of their way to help answer my questions about this! Dealing with Emerald has been one of the best customer service experiences.
