Avoided disaster...I'm needing to sell my home and move back to Michigan...Originally received an offer that I accepted.. signed the document., and was getting ready to move..then noticed the document was not completly signed by them.
Couldn't get ahold of them. First thing that came to mind was getting screwed out of the agreed selling price
When I finally got a hold of them, they refused to sign.
It gave me the creeps then I fired them after talking with an attorney. BEWARE!

They r liars n cheaters they don't want to buy ur home they want to sell the paper before closing believe all the bad reviews they r true it happened to me now they messed up my real closing they r horrible I reported them

Ridiculous overpriced fractional 2nd home ownership.
Their prices make zero financial sense.

Began this process in March 2025. They are in breach of contract. The contract price was 65k and with closing on 5/12/2025. Now a week to go and they offer 35k. Meanwhile plans have been made, dr. appts, our whole lives have been turned upside down. AVOID COMPLETELY. They will take advantage of senior citizens and not blink an eye.

I started out talking with Saxton Schmizt over selling our home and property to Ember Homes,I was offered $88,700,which I didn't agree on,but I thought about it for a couple days,and got back to Saxton and let him know I had to atleast get $90,000 out of it.so he talked it over with his supervisor, team members etc.and got back to me with yes they would pay $90.000,but that would be as much as they could go,I said that's fine,we areokay with $90.000,so he tells me k ow will be sending a contract for us to sign,which we did,I had to send in pics of inside and outside of our home,which I did,and we had the date as April 1st for closing,and I recieved a call the would need more time,so went to May 1st,from that point on didn't hear from them but may e twice,so I text,with no reply acouple different times,and I ended up calling today because haven't heard from anyone,I ask how they went about paying us,because tomorrow was supposed to be the closing day,and a woman by the Belle,informed me that they was going to be able to continue with the purchase,never bothered to text,email or call me and let me k ow anything even remotely close to something like that going on,I been staying up late,getting up early getting everything we own packed up to be out of our home tomorrow we have been giving cars and several other things away instead of selling like we planned,due to being made to believe we would be closing on our home with them tomorrow May 1st 2025,How we was done was so uncalled for very
unporfessional,not to mention the loss we took thinking we had to have everything out by today,I've never been treated so disrespectful by anyone,let alone a place of bussiness,in my life,I wouldn't recommend Ember Homes to anyone,because they can't be trusted,that's forsure!,they will cost you money,you never would of had to spend if not for them,and the stress ,anxiety and just beyond upset,is unreal,we are on a fixed income as it is,and for a company to cause someone to loss money, on hiring help,paying for gas for 3 trucks,paying to have things hauled off,and that's just part of it,it's pathetic,and right now with the cost of everything, all they did was out us in a hole,that right now I don't know if we can even start to get out of!!!! ,extremely upset!!!!!

Total disrespect and communication. 💯. I believe you are fake and unprofessional.

We love, love our Ember! It has become our go-to spot for family getaways and celebrations, and our kids are ALWAYS asking when we are going back (and their friends are too!).

We’ve used it for everything from quiet weekends with just the family to fun getaways with friends, big reunions with extended family, and even girls’ trips.

The best part is that while it feels like our dream home when we’re there, we don't have to think about it at all when we’re not. No maintenance or worries—everything is always ready for us to just show up and enjoy.

We’ve made so many special memories and celebrated countless moments together at our Ember home. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to own one—it’s truly our happy place!

We've owned shares in two Ember properties. We've sold them at different times. We've upgraded once -- and now we are about to purchase our 3rd share in a new Ember property. We just love it. It's been easy to sell and buy. It's night and day difference from an AirBnB, which is how we used to vacation. Now we hope to always own an Ember property because it's so much better for our family than renting or owning an entire home outright.

Ember has been incredibly easy to work with. The home is always beautiful, spotless, and ready for us when we vacation there. Questions are answered quickly and any issues we’ve ever faced have been remedied immediately. We have so many amazing memories with our family at our Ember property!

House was clean and ready for us. We did ask if we could check-in early and never heard back from our concierge.

Exceptional build and design with extremely simple and easy accessibility. Best vacation home opportunity I’ve ever seen or experienced. Thank you Ember!
