Perfect Balance; lovely materials for this price pen. Enjoy using it for all of my personsal notes and cards. Currently use different Ellington pens each with different color inks (red, blue and black). Have mislayed the calligraphy set, (so large, how is it overlooked) otherwise, every holiday card would be addressed in a simple calligraphy script.

77€ of goods, what you find out a bit later, is that on top of that you pay 11€ of postage, and what you find out when it's too late, is that on top of that you pay 29€ of import tax, which they do not take care of, so effectively a 77€ product becomes a 117€ expense, making it a terrible value for money. Don't buy from europe.

True designed and sold in the UK but assembled in China, Not something i would usually be interested in it but having checked them out I decided to give it ago,, I am delighted with the pens i received, I have been using fountain pens for the past 50 years and these are some of the best. Improve your hand writing, i cant recommend highly enough. ordered from france and they still arrived within a week .

The Pen is a cheap Chinese product, if you are looking for quality please stick to the expert and established pen manufacturers, it’s just clever marketing, poorly packaged, no instructions, just a cheap thin piece of damaged card with a QR code printed on it, I have emailed for a return and refund 3 days ago, surprise , surprise no response yet , so I will continue to leave negative reviews across every channel until I receive a refund but I’m not holding my breath. You have been warned DO NOT BUY AN ELLINGTON PEN.

I ordered 5 pens and other accessories 17-days ago... for the last 12-days there has been no movement in the tracking number of the shipment. While I understand shipping is out of the control of the seller... I do expect the seller (Ellington Pens) to understand that because the shipping / freight company can not tell us where the package is (presumably lost)... Ellington Pens is not willing to accept this and will not send me a replacement order.

Good customer service, but I am now on my third fountain pen in 9 months. If it was one faulty pen, ok, two faulty pens and I would still give them the benefit of the doubt, but 3 faulty pens in a row within months is the product itself.

In the past I have been an avid fountain pen collector. I have previously owned pens costing thousands of pounds. I wasn’t really expecting very much for such a reasonably priced pen but I have been pleasantly surprised. I chose a pocket model and the quality of the engineering and finish is first class. I definitely recommend this company and their products.

I need the instructions on how to put this pen together. The end where the pen cartridge should go down is firmly blocked at the end with a silver cap.

Is this supposed to come off? How does the pen retract? I am very confused. For the price, I am more than a little disappointed. I tried to take the nd cap of gently with pliers and it still would not budge.

I wrote and asked for help but recieved no reply.

Not only are the pens lovely but the delivery was quicker than stated

Order to delivery was a little over 24 hours. Incredibly quick. From the moment I popped in the ink cartridge this pen started to write. No flicking the pen or squeezing the cartridge to get ink to the nib. It was instant. Writing with it is an utter pleasure. I haven't been able to stop writing as it so easy and a lot of fun. It flows across the paper so nicely, no dragging or scratching. It is like writing with a roller ball. It is also lovely to hold and this pen sits in the hand with superb balance. A wonderful product and one that doesn't break the bank. I have had expensive ink pens before and honestly this pen writes so much better. I purchased the Scarlet Slate Fountain Pen and would not hesitate to recommend purchasing from Ellington Pens.

Great Pens! Easy ordering and the order arrived on time.

I was a little disappointed with the ballpoint. The ink consistency and darkness is poor. The pen I got was better than the 1st one I got. Better writing consistency for sure. The quality of the original rollerball I bought was poor also. I like the way the pens fell in my hand and they look nice, but the refills are inconsistent at best.

The medium nib doesn’t provide the silky smooth writing experience like advertised. I recently purchased two fountain pens and received a third one free. All the same scratchy writing experience.

The pen does not write as advertised. It does not write smooth. It's like scratching the paper and the ink flow is very light and skips. The whole writing experience is very poor. I would not recommend these pens to anyone. I plan to return it.

I love these pens. They are so smooth and balanced. The writing is effortless, clean and crisp. All of the pens through Ellington are fantastic! Highly recommend ❤️

Easy to use, provides a smooth writing experience.

I recently discovered fountain pens and fell in love with them. I bought one of the Ellington wood pens, with a fine tip, after seeing an advertisement a few months ago . The pen is amazing. It writes so smoothly and doesn't skip. That purchase led to others. I know own 4 Ellington fountain pens and they all write beautifully!
