We have been with Eligo off and on for about 5 years now and are completely satisfied with their service and prices. We use them when their prices are lower than our local service and switch back when they are not. It pays to be aware of changes that companies make. It works for us!

I’ve switch around to other providers a couple of times but have always returned to Eligo. It’s reliable, reasonably priced and there’s none of this short-term contract business. That’s done by other carriers and it’s so inconvenient and bothersome. Speaking from experience, this is a good choice.

they will scam you slowly overtime running your rate up slowly more and more per month till your paying 4 times going rate on gas. canceled over 2 months ago with there service and still being charged.

If you want to save money on your heat bill, then Eligo is for you. We have been with Eligo for several years now & we couldn't be happier. Why pay full price for heat when you can get a discount. Try it & see for yourself.

After my 3 months were up I missed Eilgo's tiny postcard saying I need to renew and my rate went varible to 17 Cents per KW My month end bill was $500 WOULD NOT RECOMEND THESE CROOKS

I had to leave one star, but would take away stars if I could.
This is in Metro Detroit. I started paying my elderly mother's bills in September and put her on autopay for her gas company(Consumers Energy)not thinking I had to analyze her monthly statements. Well just got her recent statement and the amount for gas over $160 caught my attention. I noticed a company named Eligo under the breakdown of charges and immediately looked at the total she paid to Consumers Energy this year compared to what my husband and I paid(we live in the same size house a mile away from her)and she has paid $900+ more than we have. Are you kidding me? I immediately called Eligo contesting this scam. They played the recorded phone call they had with my mom in May of 2023 with her consenting to this change in her natural gas provider. It was an automated system, not a person and it kept prompting my mom to say yes to confirm certain details. She couldn't even question anyone because she was not talking to a live person. In an instant I was in tears screaming at the customer service rep about how could she sleep at night while knowingly working for a company who is scamming the elderly. I am demanding a refund from them. They are suppose to get back with me next week(because this is the Thanksgiving holiday weekend)to work something out. I am just sick over this. They better hope they come up with something good because I've already contacted an attorney and I will be submitting complaints anywhere I can within the State of Michigan. This company must be stopped!!!

We locked in a2year

I signed up with Eligo because they promised a much lower rate for natural gas than Consumers Energy. However, you have to keep checking you billing statement because Elego will steadily increase their rate unless you catch them at it. I failed to keep track of them and it ended up they were charging 3 1/2 times more than Consumers Energy after two years with their plan. Now I'm having to pay off an accumulated balance of over $900 to Consumers Energy. Buyer beware.

Eligo offered better rates than my local supplier so I gave them a shot. I am pleased with their service, as it has saved me money, and eliminated the monthly fear of uncertainty that came from not knowing what rate I'd be charged for the months utilities. Now? I don't go through that little panic attack when I open the power bill each month. Way more consistent and you get to select from the best rates around. Or if you like your standard provider, they tell you that, and provide rate comparisons to assure your satisfaction. GO ELIGO!

Very dissappointed with price increase. My electric rate went from $0.0849kw in 7/2024 to 0.14700kw this month. (in one year without any notice). People have always been nice but sucker you in with low rate then double it in a year????

We were looking for the lowest rates possible. We are on a fixed income, and every little bit counts. We have been with Eligo for about 5-6 years, and have found that their prices to be among the lowest in our area. We are very satisfied with Eligo.

Eligo service is great and the people i dealt with was very helpful and polite

My wife and I switched our gas supplier from Consumers to Eligo in late 2023. We also switched our disabled daughter and son's accounts because they are on limited incomes. In the 14 months since we switched, we paid over $2,500 more for Eligo gas than we would have paid for Consumers with no notification from Eligo that they were raising their price almost every month.
