Shocked at how little the mechanics and the staff paid attention to actual safety precautions of the items they are selling. I recently bought a set of hookless carbon wheels from Elevate. They matched them with tires, so I thought I was getting a good deal. That is until in big capital letters the words MOUNTING FOR HOOKED RIMS ONLY stood out on the tires.

Extremely disappointed and disgusted with what they thought would be acceptable to send as a pre owed product.
A pretty unapologetic and scarastic email soon followed as soon as I complained.

Update to my post of the 12th Jully 24.
Still no response from Elevated cycles regarding the faulty, mis specified front fork on my Engwe Engine pro.
I purchased new air/hydraulic front suspension forks and sealed headset bearings, costing £175, which I fitted, problem solved.
I hope that prospective customers of Elevated Cycles understand that whilst the sales team are eager to please, after sales care is not.

Ignoring return request. Scam.
I have been trying to get in touch about returning a bike via email, phone and instant message on their website. It has been 3 days of calling, sending emails and messages. Still haven’t heard back. There is no way to return an item except getting in touch. They are probably trying to ignore me for long enough so that I miss the return window.

Firstly, we’re happy to have processed your return without issue. So I hope that ultimately you were satisfied with our service.
Secondly, to add some context behind your review, you emailed your request for return on a Sunday morning. Our customer enquiries aren’t monitored over the weekend (sometimes we are able to on a best efforts basis). When the new week starts we respond to enquiries chronologically, and we responded to yours on Tuesday morning. It did take one business day to get to your request but we don’t feel that delay warrants the review that you gave. We aren’t an Amazon or another multinational corporation that can offer same day service (although we appreciate that’s becoming expected), we’re a UK business that offer personal and direct service which can take a little longer.
We wish you all the best with your search for a bike that fits your measurements more comfortably.

great e-bike for a bargain discount! Very easy to assemble from the box, just needed to adjust the handlebars, put the seat post on and attach the pedals. It runs well and lives up to its promotion.
