With elevate.io I now actually enjoy editing!

I used iMovie on a MacBook for over ten years unable to see a reason why I should change. Then I discovered the online video editor, elevate.io. It's a gamechanger. Super-fast, super-easy to use. Intuitive. Precise. Very fine. It's just the best thing since sliced bread and now I actually enjoy the editing process.

Goodbye multiple exports!

We love using Elevate!

Our marketing team is split across two sites and before we used Elevate, editing was a real pain. We were constantly having to export projects and send them to other people in our team or upload footage in a Google Drive and Download them into editing software.

Not anymore - everything is uploaded to Elevate's servers and all of our team can access the projects directly. They can give feedback or edit projects themselves. Now the only time we need to export projects is when they're finished.

No more downloads.

I used to have to download software to edit family videos, then eventually if I changed my computer I would find the software unsuitable. One of the great things about elevate is it's all on the browser. No downloads, no need for high end computer. It just works seamlessly. I could go on. Fantastic tech and so easy to use.

Central storage and access is a godsend

I’m a small business owner and not a video expert at all. I just need something that’s quick to use and doesn’t take ages to figure out.

It’s easy to pick up and there’s no software to download.

We can now make decent videos without having to learn complicated tools. I don’t have the time (or patience) for big editing software, so this saves a lot of time.

I also like that all our videos are stored in one place, so my team can get to them any time without us having to send files around or dig things out. And I know where they are stored so we can access them without hassle.

Good value for money.

Good Impression so far, after 2 months use

I started using this video editor a couple of months ago

I spent a day in order to get to know the interface and how the features worked etc and it actually all worked smoothly…

Used the phone upload to film some stuff at a family Christmas gathering…edited it in minutes and sent it straight over to family in Australia… was all straight forward.

I tried the Review feature and it worked fine..instant commenting and feedback…

Access to the royalty free video library has been useful, audio library coming soon

Haven’t used the Token system for paying for extra AI use....I will probably use them for image generation

Tried the new subtitles, and transcription and had no problems following the instruction. Recent additions to transitions too...

Folders are really useful to upload different projects into.

Support was quick at answering a couple of questions and also pointed me in the direction of the “How to” videos they have which are pretty short and straight to the point which is another help…

So far it has been a very good experience and everything seems to work well …

I would advise getting familiar with it before attempting any time deadline kind of work, if you are new to it and give yourself time to upload all your video ..you only do it once...and use the Support too...as I found them eager to help

I am an amateur User and using the Creator

Elevate.io: Finally, a Browser-Based Editor That Doesn’t Choke

Look, most "collaborative" tools are just a glorified way to watch a loading bar together. Elevate.io is different. It’s built for the high-velocity chaos of modern production, turning what used to be a technical headache into a genuine flow state.

Automated Captions: From Chore to One-Click
Let’s talk about the Auto-Captioning. Usually, subtitling is the part of editing where you start questioning your career choices—it's tedious, manual, and prone to typos.
Seamless Integration: On Elevate, it’s frighteningly efficient. One click and the AI transcribes your audio with surgical precision.
Customisable Styling: You aren't stuck with boring presets; you can brand your text to match the video’s vibe instantly.
Global Reach: It handles multiple languages without breaking a sweat, ensuring your content is accessible (and algorithm-friendly) before your coffee even gets cold.

The Full Package
Mobile Upload: Shoot on your phone, and the footage is in the project before you’ve even walked back to your desk. It kills the friction of file transfers stone dead.
Multi-User Sync: It’s a proper multiplayer experience. You and the team can chop, change, and refine the timeline simultaneously without version-control nightmares.

High-Octane Rendering: Since it’s cloud-based, you aren't relying on your hardware’s cooling fans to stay alive. It’s fast, stable, and predictably brilliant.

Features seem to be dropping everyweek. Fabtastic preset Looks (Luts) which you can play with.

I could go on but recommend you check it out for yourself its free. Although I have just upgraded to the Creator Paid Version. Genuinelly think this will be the industry standard soon it is literally that good.

Been using elevate.io for a few months…

Been using elevate.io for a few months now, never had a problem with it and well worth the money.
The user experience is like nothing else I've seen for video editors in the browser.
It's frame accurate, uber responsive, easy to use and even works on low spec laptops.
Better still it plays back your video edit directly in the browser, no rendering needed, really amazing.
Has loads of multi user capability, very easy to share video projects and review or work on them across teams.
They're always adding new features, additional transitions and automatic captions dropped this year and they're fantastic.
Reliability hasn't been a problem either.
There's also excellent levels of support if you need it via social media / discord chat or reaching out directly to product support via their website.

Love it!!

Love, Love, Love this - editing smooth and zero lag from when I have used it. The captioning is a game changer and our internal review with colleagues chipping in has made time savings on our workflow. Have a lower tier option as we are a small team but I think we will save money overall vs subscription. For clarity we do simple short training videos to explain some of our products use cases so nothing too whizzy. Very happy and dovetails well with Canva in our office. 10/10

It's great

It's great, no issue, no downtime and nice transitions and great editing tips in the shorts. Might be worth making it cast on big screens via chrome so people can edit on mobile too.

I hate this

I was editing my first video for almost 2 hours, but then something went wrong when I was trying to fix the audio not working and after a bug 98% of my editing was just gone. I tryed using the undo button but it kept saying "Something went wrong with your edit. Your change has been undone." Now I just can't get that progress back and wasted the last 2 hours of my day.

Quality

Tried it a few months ago and it was fine. Really fast, just like a desktop editor was the great thing, but lacking the features I need. Lacking loads of features I need. Tried again last week, it's like night and day, massive improvement and will probably use as my main editor now. Folders was a big deal for me. Still needs more though. I've not seen a decent cloud editor before, so this could be the future, the model of things to come?

An easy to use reliable video editor.

This is an easy to use video editor. I'm using the monthly 'Creator' plan. It runs in the cloud so no download required. I just open in browser (I use Chrome, although others are supported), upload videos into the very smart storage area, I can then edit for any frame dimension . Other major positive is that there is no lag during editing and also it is frame accurate. It is regularly upgraded without impact on my working, for instance 4k output was added the other day. It has a collaboration tool for those who need to edit with others remotely. Support is also very helpful. Definitely worth giving elevate.io a go if you want fast trouble free editing.
