Delivery was spread over 2 days despite paying extra. Not a huge deal.
Kit arrived and duly installed. The instructions are a bit lacking, and getting the exit bend just right was a pain for the indoor unit to sit flush. Biggest issue however, was that I couldn't get it to cool the air. Eventually figured it out after a call with their help team, but improved instructions would have saved a lot of time and avoided the need for a call.

Otherwise, now working well. It is very quiet and seems pretty efficient.

item itself works well so far - not as effective as our previous air con unit but it did the job in the mini heatwave

Found the item we wanted by 7pm Friday item was delivered by 12.30 pm Saturday free of charge.

We have electriQ dehumidifier’s already . The smaller versions ideal for inside wardrobes . This new unit will be ideal in our utility/laundry room . It fit great on the bench. Although not applied the dehumidifier , mainly because the weather has been excellent and the window faces south . The move to the cooler weather will suit this unit .

I bought an AC unit after seeing an Indy review, but now feel like the review was potentially misleading. The unit was described as quiet but sounds just like a kitchen extractor, even on the lowest setting. Overall, unit functions fine but does feel a bit basic. I have previously had an air purifier from electriQ and felt the same. Does what it says; no frills. Purchase and delivery experience all fine, but for almost £500 I expected kit that felt more advanced.

Impossible to install air-con unit with the supplied instructions. Luckily there are a couple of online videos people have made. With that advice, it's possible for a good DIY person to install in a day. Air-con works well and hopefully lasts a few years.

I payed extra to have it delivered on a Saturday……it didn’t appear. The courier company tried to deliver it on a Monday, which is completely no use to me, hence why I paid the extra to have it delivered on a Saturday. No communication from the company or courier but fast enough to taking the money. First and definitely last time I deal with Buy Direct!
