Great experience from start to finish. I have struggled to navigate the EV / Work scheme space but Alex an Marios were clear with how to set up the scheme and ordering cars. Whenever I had a question, no matter how trivial, they were on hand to assist.

Avoid this company by all means, if you can go elsewhere - DO go elsewhere. I am not wasting any more time on this company by writing detailed review, do not be fooled by the positive ones they already have. The worst customer service and experience ever. And then I receive a vehicle which is not fully working and I have to sort it out myself :) AVOID !

Update: Appreciated the support EV Scheme when the leasing company weren't a help
Update: Since posting this review, Sara at The EV Scheme has been in touch and helped push things forward. They've managed to get Lex to update their systems and get my car properly registered on their systems to enable me to use the maintenance/breakdown element of the contract. They also supported me by submitting a complaint to Lex on my behalf, which I await the response on. I appreciate that the EV Scheme followed up and took ownership of getting this moving, so I'm revising my review upward.
Original Review:
The scheme is fine if your car works as expected. Unfortunately, my car's battery failed after just one week, and from that point on, nobody seems willing to take responsibility.
The EV Scheme referred me to the leasing company (Lex). Lex then directed me to their breakdown provider (AA), who told me the vehicle wasn't even registered on their system and referred me to the manufacturer. The manufacturer uses the RAC, who wouldn't recover the car despite what appears to be a clear manufacturing fault. In the end, I was left to take the car to a Citroën dealership in my own time, only to be told they could only look at it by appointment.
As a result, I'm paying for a car that I can't use and will likely be without it for at least two weeks, with no compensation offered. My biggest concern is that if this fault happens again, there appears to be no process for compensating customers for the time they are without the vehicle. On a multi-year lease, you could end up paying for a car that is unavailable for significant periods if the fault recurs.
I'm giving two stars because The EV Scheme staff did genuinely try to help. However, their ability to resolve issues is very limited, which makes using the scheme feel like a risk if your vehicle develops a fault. Taking payments is straightforward, but when something goes wrong, the customer is left to navigate a confusing chain of companies with very little ownership or accountability.
