Lack of professionalism and communication
We have been waiting since March 2025 for the issuance of an inheritance certificate, despite having signed all required documentation on 26/03/2025. Over nearly four months, communication from Elan Notarissen has been inconsistent and unprofessional. We were given conflicting information; first being told the certificate was ready but not sent because our email addresses were “lost,” then told it was not ready due to a lawyer, without further explanation.
Repeated follow-ups, including emails and international phone calls, have gone unanswered or unresolved. We also received no response to our request for clarification on a document they asked us to sign regarding the appointment of an estate administrator. To date, we have not received any meaningful update or resolution. This level of service is unacceptable and disappointing for such an important legal process.
