Avoid EE Northwich – they are scammers


Went to EE store in Northwich for 2 SIM-only deals. They secretly signed me up on two 2-year contracts instead. Only cancelled after I threatened legal action.
They do the same tricks with broadband. Stay away from this company.

Great customer service

After spending 1 hour on phone and…

After spending 1 hour on phone and agreeing to swop broadband, get 2 sim only deals and a new phone I realised that they had not listened to my request for the type of phone and based all there figures on the wrong phone !! Cancelled everything.
Will now leave EE

I confess that I have had great problems in communicating with EE, which is why I finally managed to get through to them this morning. However I am very pleased to say that my conversation this morning with Jack was exteremely helpful, he was extremely patient and all my problems were sorted out entirely to my satisfaction. I’ve been with EE for more than 20…

I’ve been with EE for more than 20 years. Always felt well supported and staff helpful, I phoned last week as broadband up for new contract. From start the guide seemed different, long silences and I had to ask a few times did he hear me! Eventually he got us this “ great deal” seemed. Ok until we started to ask for breakdown on the new tariff, he became quite annoyed and said “ you agreed to this a few mins ago” then used the word “ altercation” which I pointed out meant having a fight not asking for further info! He then apologised for using that. We decided not to proceed and even a week later I feel shocked at this attitude, I did give Ee feedback but I’m sure nothing acted on Now shopping around for new deal with guides who respect customers asking for a breakdown of tariff further. Thought that was a right of distant selling? perhaps guide was having a bad day but so was I after it!

Arranged to install full fibre on a date, never turned up and I had to chase, they said it was stuck in the system so no engineer would be coming?? just rebooked for nearly a month later.

EE customer service is excellent

The customer service agent was extremely helpful, listened to what I wanted out of my package, and came back with a deal that ungraded my package and made the price cheaper.
