Honestly, this place (Educogym Docklands) has been a transformation. I have lost weight, toned up and am enjoying finally going to a gym! The personal service I receive is second to none and shout out to Evan, who has pushed me to achieve results, is a credit to the company and what they stand for. I highly recommend it
i was pressured into buying their products. also told that if i gave them a good review i would receive 10% off my next products. I wasted so much money. My son who is a professional sportsman in university looked in the window and laughed at how old fashioned and olde the equipment is. I feel like a fool
I find Educogym Ennis very welcoming and friendly, the coaches are very helpful and feel intuitively know what exercises are best for an individual especially if had injury, applying those exercises really target areas that need attention, I like the way the exercises are changed around aswell to give variety...it's only 20 mins so it's very convenient and can fit into most people's lifestyle .. I used to spend an hour in gym and just about keep my weight at bay .. however with Educogym and diet changes I started to see results very quickly I'd highly recommend it to anyone
Was with Mark Young for the most of my evaluation and training. Found him excellent. He's straight talker and no fake motivation talk. Personally lost a stone and gained muscle in 25 days(14 to 13st. Followed the program to the letter even when away. It works, eliminates sugar and puts you on the road to clean eating. I used it as a reset and would recommend it.
Having discussed goals with Ryan, a plan was in place. Two weeks in, I found myself being booked at times when there was a consultation taking place with the only trainer on, which is a bit inconvienient but I carried on. (Ryan was not at fault, I trained in the evening and he covered the morning shifts).
Unfortunately on one of the days, I was met by one of the trainers and the additional vitamins and supplements were pushed on me. I had to repeat myself three times just to actually start training and it was all presented to me as "Megan wants you to take supplements". But the trainer themselves found it odd that the message came from Megan (the manager), when Megan didn't do my consultation. Now having emailed back in June, Megan said that she didn't say anything to the trainer about mentioning it to me. So I'm not sure where it all came from, or if there's a few tales being told. So it's hard to know who is saying what behind the scenes when one says one thing, and another is doing something else.
Unfortunately it made the whole experience feel like a cash grab, or something commission based whereby my worth was based on how much I was willing to spend and has just soured the whole experience. Also refunds don't seem to be on the agenda anytime soon, so it's being prepared to commit to it regardless of what happens (buyer beware). Megan didn't offer it, and Tais the new manager went silent when I mentioned it via email when he reached out.
€1333 for two/three weeks of training is not exactly ideal, when it should have been six months. But Ryan seemed dead on, just a pity how it was soured by others.
David Johnstone. I had the misfortune to come across an Educogym representative this morning, approx 12.00 noon, at the Eyre Square shopping center here in Galway. She was looking after the stand, as she touted for customers. I stopped by the stand to have a look at the photos and brochures. She happened to be on her mobile phone at the time, fair enough. I stood at the stand for approx three minutes, waiting for attention. Never once did she look at me, smile nor interact in any fashion whatsoever. She continued to speak on her mobile phone, as though I did not actually exist at all as a human being. I got the impression I was somewhat of an irritation to her. I was not looking to chat her up, just looking for information. While I myself am slim and in no need of fitness training, I do have many friends and relatives, some in in need of fitness training. If this woman's manner, condescending in the extreme, and total disinterest is any indication of the caliber of staff at Educogym, there is no way on earth would I ever use them nor recommend them to any one whatsoever. I don't know if she was representing the Oranmore or Knocknakara gym. Maybe she was having a bad day of it, or whatever, but if your touting for customers, at least try and be pleasant to would be applicants. it doesn't hurt to be nice to people, especially in business !
The gym in Blackrock had a huge change on my life. I'm leaner, more positive and my changes are turning up in my professional and financial life for the better.
