Friendly, courteous and very efficient

Dan and Alana kept in touch from my initial enquiry to booking. We are from overseas and when we attempted to pay our deposit online it recorded a system error, but before I could call them Alana was on the phone to help with the problem. They were helpful and courteous and made every attempt to provide us with accomodation that suited all our requirements. Great company to deal with

Be careful

My family and I stayed at the Dundonald Apartment for four nights at the end of September 2024 and would not recommend this experience to anyone as it did not live up to our expectations at all. Among other issues such as worn towels and a leaking fridge, the overall cleaning was not satisfactory to us and especially the toilets felt disgusting. But our biggest issue was with how damp the apartment felt. The air felt thick and moist and at night it became worse. We thought about moving to a hotel, but with two small babies we decided to make the best of what we had received and not waste our short holiday on moving and all the hassle connected with that.

After our stay we wrote to Edlets about our experienced issues during our stay and asked for a fair compensation, which we thought would be quickly accepted due to our issues being so obvious. However, this was not the case at all. We felt that Edlets did not care about or agree with any of the issues we experienced during our stay and seemed more focused on the fact that we did not complain during our stay.

Especially during our phone calls with Edlets about the compensation the tone felt hostile and even threathening at one point.

In the last e-mail we received from Edlets before they stopped answering us, they finally seemed to acknowledge several of the issues we had experienced and described how they had fixed them. However, we never received any compensation perhabs because we insisted on writing a review about our experiences anyway. Furthermore, we are still waiting on receiving back our deposit, but maybe it is normal for this to take weeks.

Based on the experience of living in the Dundonald Apartment as we received it along with one of the most unprofessional and unpleasant customer service experiences we have tried, it is safe to say that we are not using Edlets again.

We are pleased to note that our apartment has consistently received positive reviews, including recent commendations from other guests. During Ulrick and Emma's four-night stay, we did not receive any communication regarding potential issues. It is our standard practice to address any concerns promptly, and we would have appreciated the opportunity to resolve matters had we been informed.

On their first evening, our cleaner delivered an additional high chair for their convenience, and no concerns were raised at that time. We believe that immediate communication is crucial in maintaining guest satisfaction, and we encourage all guests to reach out to us directly if any issues arise.

Regrettably, we received a request for a full refund a week after their departure, accompanied by threats of negative reviews. We requested any photographic evidence to better understand their claims, but none was provided. Our management team conducted a thorough inspection prior to their arrival, ensuring that the apartment met our high cleanliness standards.

Additionally, we would like to clarify that Ulrick and Emma were not charged a security deposit, and we have communicated this to them to alleviate any confusion. We encourage transparency and communication to ensure a pleasant experience for all guests.

While we value all feedback, it is important to us that any concerns are addressed in a timely manner. We remain committed to delivering high-quality service and hope that future guests will feel empowered to communicate directly with us during their stay.

well I was booking for 12 which is not easy as they all have other Wishes and to get them all in one !!!!!!!
However after a lot of understanding from EDLETS I managed it and now we are looking forward to a great Holiday in Edinburgh: Thanks Alana; Thanks Edlet.

Never disappoint

Have used Edlets for a few years now for our annual pilgrimage to the Fringe. They always provide a few offers for our requirements to choose from and have yet to not provide what we are after. Will continue to use and would recommend them to anyone that wants someone to sift through the options for them
