Breach of guidelines
Gone downhill, no communication about loss of basic features
unfortunately they have broken a lot of features and functionality which has made them impossible to reccomend anymore. you can no longer manage domain names even though continue to sell them with the promise of the basic features apparently no longer possible. support is saying its not possible and making out this is normal and not supported despite it previously working.
updated to 3* as support are very helpful, but ultimately they removed/broke things whilst removing the ability to manage domain names unless linked to hosting, and made no communication about this so you could change/plan things in advance. So if you have multiple domains or no hosting they now lack basic features (and still sold as supported).
I’ve bExcellent Support and Reliable Hosting Experienceeen using Enix hosting services…
I’ve been using Enix hosting services for over five years, and they’ve always been reliable. Recently, after a server migration, I experienced some issues with MySQL remote access. I contacted support, and they responded promptly, clearly understood the issue, and resolved it faster than expected.
Their communication was professional, respectful, and solution-oriented. They even followed up after the issue was resolved, which shows how much they value customer experience. I'm now able to continue my operations smoothly, and I truly appreciate the outstanding service.
Enix has earned my trust once again, and I’ve decided to stay with them instead of moving to a new host.
Polite, but useless.
We transferred our web site and email to Ecoweb a few months ago when regrettably our previous service provider (TSO) got bought over.
Unfortunately the experience with Eco Web has been anything but smooth. The web site too a while to transfer, various things not done, but at least when eventually moved it has been stable.
The email on the other hand has been a night mair. IFor quite a few week teh emails were simply not working and even now emails are not coming through smoothlu, , on time and in some case just do not make it. It has effected our business badly.
Whilst Eco Web people seem curious they just not get things done properly and it has really cost us.
No apologies or compensation for teh endless hasle, extra cost and lost business/
My strong advice is that if you depend in any way on a your web site and emails working properly do not go with Eco Web.
Good service. Easy to use for the web building amateur and they plant trees.
I have been using eco webhosting for over 10 years now. I know they have been bought out since. I completed one of their online web builder courses years back which was really useful.
I have also purchased domains with them and have 1 websites currently up and running.
Always excellent and easy to use. Always had good communication.
There was a little hiccup with a recent web hosting migration which caused my website to go down but I submitted a ticket and within 30 minutes my website was back up and running.
Very pleased with the service so far.
P.S. They also plant trees which is a very attractive part of their business.

Very helpful and quick resolution. I would highly recommend.
Great company with excellent customer service
Always quick to resolve any issues and have received consistently excellent support from them.
Very fast response
The response to the issue was resolved very quickly and the engineers are sorting out the why for others.

they have migrated something their end
they have migrated something their end. i have lost my email accounts, it wont let me log in my eco web housing account. i cant reset password as i cant get into my email that they host, they have taken down the phone lines, and dont reply for the last two weeks for help
Appallingly bad management of the…
Appallingly bad management of the recent mail server migration.
Three weeks later and I still have no reliable email, no consistent support, just replies from different help desk support members which are generally 24hrs out of date and unaware of the bigger picture.
Phone is permanently engaged.
I’m wondering if they’ve actually collapsed completely?
I cannot trust them with such an important part of our business.
Extremely poor service over the past month, with no accountability.
Several of my business and client websites (along with all associated emails) have gone down multiple times in recent weeks. Eco Hosting has been unable to provide a clear explanation or offer any form of compensation for the resulting loss of earnings. This is particularly disappointing given that I’ve been a loyal customer for many years. I’m now in the process of moving everything away from Eco, which is itself causing disruption. Do yourself a favour and avoid this provider.
They always answer
I'm still new to website building...and there is a lot of vocabulary that I still don't understand...but I feel confident that if I'm truly confused, they will always answer my questions. They're on the other side of the world and they always answer within a day or so. So it gives me confidence to keep trying to figure things out.
Horrendous
I have experienced horrendous difficulties over the last few weeks with being unable to access my email account and my website had been inaccessible on occasion. My website manager informs me that this is mainly due to a migration of platforms. Service provision has been abysmal. Technical support response times are seven hours plus for loss of service issues. This has all been detrimental to my business which relies mainly on email enquiries. I am a small sole trader and can ill afford to loose business like this. Problems still persist with intermittent email connection - appalling! I would advise you not to touch them with a barge pole!
Standards have crashed
I woke up a few days ago to various family members (UK and abroad) moaning about email not working. It appeared that Eco had migrated the server(s) my three domains were hosted on! I received no warning, even though they had supposedly emailed me.
On logging in it appeared the move had already happened. I changed passwords for four email boxes but mine wouldn't work. I spent two days messaging via the ticketing system (6 hours response to the first urgent message - busy, obviously!), only to be given information which I already had. It turned out the SMTP port didn't like the password. I only discovered this by trial and error. Not once did “support” bother to look at their own server logs - this would have been instantly apparent. Also, why was I allowed to change the password to something “illegal”? This is basic stuff.
So, all's fixed. Wrong. My wife lost many years worth of webmail contacts, very unhappy (I've moved her to POP now, never trust anyone else's servers). Email mostly hasn't worked since, for anyone. Lost emails, SMTP errors galore. Their “service status” page happily reporting no issues whatsoever during this whole debacle. A couple of times their website software also told me I had “0 mailboxes”. That was a fun few hours!
Eco were superb for years but now I discover they were taken over a little while back. How very sad. I have now, as swiftly as possible, moved all three domains to new providers - phew, safe at last! And breathe. To support's credit, at least they changed the IPSTAGs for me within a few hours each time.
Superb Customer Service
The team at EWH have gone over and above to identify and resolve how WP Mail can become operable on my WordPress sites.
The exchange of messages on their nifty ticketing hub has been superb.
I am glad I made after all my research the decision to move to EWH.
Novices like me need the experts like EWH.
Thanks again.

My experience with Eco Web hosting used…
My experience with Eco Web hosting used to be great and their customer service was smooth and quick. But since they migrated a few weeks ago it's been a nightmare. My emails didn't work for a few days which seriously disrupted my projects.
Their customer service was USELESS - I would have to wait for hours before getting a reply (if not the next day), I was replied to by a different person every time, and their replies were pointless.
At some point I felt so distressed and helpless that I ended up in tears.
After a few days it was fixed but I've had email issues a few times since then.
Obviously no reassuring or apology email sent to their customers. This kind of service is totally unacceptable and I'm currently looking at migrating to a new host. 👋
If I could rate this as a zero I would
If I could rate this as a zero I would. Since taking over Ecoweb hosting in the UK, Enix service provision has been abysmal. They have migrated the hosting platforms and in the process (I use the word process loosely), have created a trail of mayhem and rework behind them. Mail systems are repeatedly failing. Sites have been down as SSL certificates have not been implemented. Technical support response times are seven hours plus for loss of service issues. The service is atrocious. I used to happily recommend Ecoweb hosting to my clients for their hosting requirements. Never again. Absolute rubbish.
