BEWARE!!!!
BEWARE!!!!
I purchased a heat pump from Eco Résidentiel, and my experience has been a nightmare.
The salesman was Joseph-Andre Dawalibi on rue Modugno. And he was so helpful and kind and knowledgeable and persuasive and called often to make sure I got it installed before the hydro grant expired.he showed me all kinds of credentials and assured me of their expertise and reputation. it was 2 months after the devastating death of my son and i trusted him. he no longer answers the phone.
After the installation, my credit card was charged twice for the $15,000 purchase. I immediately disputed the duplicate charge and have been trying to resolve the issue. I have repeatedly tried to contact the company by phone but have been unable to reach anyone or receive a response.
I also did not receive any paperwork relating to my installation, including documentation for the equipment that was installed, warranty information, or other records that a homeowner would reasonably expect to receive.
This has been an extremely stressful experience, particularly while dealing with significant flood damage to my home at the same time. And now a broken heat pump in a heat wave. I had it installed 4 months ago.
As a customer, I expected accurate billing, proper documentation for the equipment installed, and responsive after-sales service. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Eco Résidentiel. I feel completely let down by this company. After being charged twice, receiving no installation paperwork or warranty documentation, being unable to reach anyone for assistance, and now having a heat pump fail only four months after installation, I have lost all confidence in them.
If you're considering purchasing a heat pump from Eco Résidentiel, I strongly encourage you to do your research and proceed with caution. My experience has been extremely disappointing and very stressful.
