My bad experience with them.

1. I spoke to a guy named grant in Melbourne.
2. He wanted me to sign the Authority to Act.
3. This is document contained clauses like:
4. 'you will indemnify us against all loss and damages arising from our attempting to recover any of the Debts;' - this is crazy! if they go out and do something against the law you have to pay for their mistakes.
5. 'eCollect may change the terms of this Agreement by providing you with 7 days notice of the change which is deemed to have occurred when you access the eCollect Client Portal;' - this is crazy as well! they can change the commission to 100% and you would have deemed to accept it as soon as you login to the portal.
6. Lastly I told this guy to stop emailing me, he didn't stop.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.

While we generally prefer not to respond publicly out of respect for client confidentiality, we would like to clarify a few key points for the benefit of others who may be considering our services.

At no stage were you pressured to sign any documents. As is standard practice, we provided our engagement terms upfront to ensure full transparency around our responsibilities and your rights before any work commenced. These terms are widely used across the industry and are entirely optional, clients are under no obligation to proceed.

eCollect in providing a no recovery no fee service and in an industry which is highly regulated needs to ensure various components of a debt or debts prior to commencing debt recovery.

You proposed a significantly revised version of the agreement, which included multiple changes. Regrettably, we were unable to accommodate those changes and respectfully declined to proceed. We confirmed in writing that the matter was closed from our end.

With regard to communication, the final email you referenced was sent to formally confirm the conclusion of your enquiry. There was no further outreach from us following your request.

We appreciate the opportunity to clarify our approach and wish you all the best in your ongoing matters.

Too early

Have had no feedback yet. Nothing has been done for me by ecollect apart from accepting the referral. A bit early to be asking for a google review repeatedly.
