The Ecobubl team are a really friendly, open and honest firm that readily provide their advice and guidance to match your needs and expectations. The recently installed an electric vehicle charger for our firm in an unusual environment some distance from the consumer unit and wifi. It all works and we're very pleased

Had a solar and battery installation which was excellent. Through Brad i have had fabulous communication and great advice throughout the process. Installers of panels were excellent as well as Mervyn the electrician who explained the process and was very professional. I await the final installation of my hot water tank heater but have no worries about this. Well done Brad and Mervyn and well done Eccobubl

Ecobubl have been fantastic with helping me plan, install and deal with small niggles along the way with my solar and battery storage solution. I can't fault their service, they are very polite, knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Brad, in particular has been really helpful with answering questions and making arrangements to make sure that the installation days went smoothly. I will use them again next year for an air source heat pump to continue my renewables journey.

We had solar panels installed by Ecobubl in May 2022 and have been v happy with them so far. Recently though our internet supplier (Virgin Media) had a local problem and we lost our internet for a day and then couldn't reconnect our link to upload power information to help manage the solar panels. Luckily Brad Whitham, from Ecobubl, came to help after we had been struggling for 10 days to understand the problem. Brad realised that our contract with Virgin Media delivered 2 signal strengths but only one of them can be used by our solar system and VM after the last outage only bothered to restore one of the signals, but not the one our solar system required. Luckily I was able to get through to the technical team to VM and Brad was able to explain the problem to the VM technician and worked with him to restore the signal strength we needed and reset our system. Before he left us he spent extra time with us making sure that we fully understood how the Virgin signal needed to be set so that we could deal with the technicians if another outage occurs and how to reset our system as well. A difficult and unusual issue that Brad handled with patience and determination

The Ecobubl team, both in the office and during the installation, were highly professional and efficient. They installed Solar PV for us at a time of high demand and at a competitive price. We're very happy and I'd highly recommend them.

It’s not that often that a company exceeds your expectations but Ecobuble did just that!

We had a PV system installed just over 10 years ago just (JUST) time for the feed in tariff. Of course so was everybody else doing the same! We were let down by our installation company (they said they couldn’t get the panels) so my wife scoured the country and managed to find some (Sanyo’s) at reasonable cost. The installation of the panels actually went fine (even though the company went bust two weeks later!)

So it was with some trepidation that we recently decided to augment our pv with batteries. Research done (thanks’ YouTube, Fully Charged Show and others) we had a short list of two – TESLA and Givenergy. TESLA had an advantage of size and weight, Givenergy in price and compatibility. Both systems had excellent software features.

We looked for local suppliers and found Ecobuble. We made an appointment and visited their showroom to see the products in the flesh and to be talked through the technology. The TESLA products were indeed very compact but as space was (for us) NOT at a premium (there was enough room in our garage) we chose the Givenergy solution. No sales pressure ‘go have a think” (we did) - quote (actually got several which was a bit cheeky (but you would be foolish not to). The quote range was quite tight but (after a site visit) there was no teeth sucking from their lovely Brad there were no extra costs for this or that (not the case elsewhere) the order was placed. Just as we found in 2002 with the pv there was a queue for batteries. We were told to expect a late August installation. In fact the installation was complete by mid July! (Thanks Melvin) Ecobuble a company that under promises and over delivers!

The only hic-up was pairing the Givenergy dongle to the wifi (for setting and data) but this was sorted in half an hour and then we had a working system. Brad spent half an hour going through the interface on the iPad, which is pretty intuitive, but it’s nice to have help at the end of the phone!

Mostly dealt with Brad,who i believe is the contract manager,who i have to say was outstanding. He dealt with any issue i had quickly and efficiently . Very friendly people to work with and wouldn't hesitate in recommending you to others. The team who installed the panels and battery side of the system were all very friendly and excellent trades people who did a top class job. From the many companies I looked into for my solar/battery system Ecobubl were the best by far and I would recommend you all to anyone

Brad was outstanding and most helpful in everyway, especially for an elderly couple. He explained things amazingly and was most definitely the best experience we have had from Ecobubl.

I am a customer having had an air source heat pump installation. After a few issues we seem to be making headway with Martin on the smaller problems.

The staff at Ecobubl are friendly and polite. The trouble is that the company cannot deliver on its promises. We ordered an Air Source Heat pump from them via the Green Homes Grant.

The quality of installation itself was adequate, not exceptional by any means. They managed to drill the hole for the pipes through a cavity wall in the wrong place which didn’t exactly instil confidence. I objected to the company criticising local plumbing and electrical contractors and had to ask that they stop. The quality of the electrical installation was dreadful and in fact dangerous as bare live cables had been left near metal switch casings. This was changed after a few weeks.
*Initial Performance*
When the ambient temperature outside was above zero, the system performed well. When it was below zero the system was unable to reach its design temperature. Ecobubl visited and discovered numerous faults including the pump being left in test mode. Various adjustments were made to settings. The problem persists.
*After Sales – 10 months on*
Changing the settings didn’t work so a Daikin engineer eventually was sent who was brilliant and advised that the design was questionable which resulted in Ecobubl installing a larger radiator. However, we won’t know if this will solve the problem until Winter 2022 by which time the system will be 19 months old. Ecobubl now have no interest in working with me to ensure the system works, they did promise to install a wired thermostat as recommended by Daikin, but never did.
*Summary*
I’ve tried to give an honest view of my experience, unfortunately although they are nice people I would not recommend them, I think they take on too many installs which are then rushed, and they don’t have the skills or capacity to solve problems.

After contacting Ecobubl and agreeing on the quote, a 180L Mixergy PV Solar tank, Myenergi Eddi and Harvi were installed. From quote to install took 3 weeks. Installation by Matt the plumber and Dave the electrician took 2.5 days. I had our system converted from vented to unvented and all the plumbing and tanks in the loft were removed and taken away.
The work was incredibly well done and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Ecobubl.

In Feb 2021, we decided to refurbish our detached mid 1970's home. Martin & Emilie provided a solution and competitive quote for a system that we needed and suited the house.There was no oversell of products that we did not need which others had tried to do. We had Long solar panels fitted to the roof, GivEenergy Hibrid inverter with 2 x 8.2kw GivEnergy batteries and a Zappi charging point for our electric car. I wrote at the time the service was first class and the installation was an extremely high standard. Fast forward 13 months to now................
One of the best decisions we ever made, the system is performing beyond my expectations.
This prompted us to complete our sustainable journey and have a ASHP installed to maximise the solar and battery equipment.
Ecobubl were my first choice based on past experience. It is always wise having a comparison quote and i was so pleased that Ecobubl provided the best option on price and quality. Martin and Emilie attended our property and completed a full in-depth survey to determine the best system for our needs.
The system was installed this week and consisted of a Daikin 8KW low temperature refrigerant split unit, a miserly hot water cylinder and a myenergi 'EDDI' diverter. All linked to to the solar and battery system.

I can speak highly enough of Ecobubl. The expertise and professionalism from Martin and Emilie is exceptional. Always available to answer queries and questions very promptly. The support from Meg who managed the delivery of the parts and the collection of the rubbish and Shanice who provided all the administration of the paperwork and certificates for the RHI grant and product warranties was was so smooth and efficient. Thankyou for making the transition stress free.
There seems to be a lot of negativity when it comes to green energy suppliers and installers. I can honestly say that Ecobubl are a true example of first class company and I would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a new green energy solution in their home.

Ecobubl installed an air source heat pump at my home last year.
Despite the agreed system they attempted to install a smaller thermal store than we agreed.They also installed the indoor unit in the bedroom despite Daikin specifying that it should not be installed in a noise sensitive area. I was unaware how noisey they are but Ecobubl should have known.
They didn’t flush the existing system and so the unit filter clogged and shut the system down.they cleared the filters and it shut down again with clogged filters
They then left and said all was ok. The bathroom radiator wasn’t getting hot. Because the system wasn’t flushed properly debris collected in the radiator valve elbow under the floor boards.
This had to be replaced by making a hole in the ceiling in order to get to the bend. The system has been incredibly noisey. It also broke down again a couple of weeks ago so we had no heating or hot water for over a week.It took Ecobubl over week to respond to this break down with a phone call. I had already called Daikin who sent an engineer.
His report shows
Main system wasn’t flushed which caused the malfunction.
The solar thermal system that has been so noisy is because it wasn’t bled after the installation.
There is no lagging on the pipes.
Ecobubl deny the above faults of course but I will happily share the Daikin engineers report if wanted.
Poor workmanship, bad design and no customer support.
You have been warned !

Ecobubl have been great at managing and completing the install of our full retrofit: solar panels, home battery, hot water cylinder and heat pump. We had *lots* of questions going into it (and during the works) as we like to understand the technical aspect of what we are getting and this was never a problem - all were answered. The install looked pretty complex and went in over a number of days in January. Post-installation service has been good too, with a couple of quirks in the system being dealt with and sorted out.

We have had a new air source heat pump and heating system installed by Ecobubl and have received excellent service throughout the whole experience. Customer service and communication has been excellent, considering the high demand due to the government GHGS.
As with most large works things do not always run smoothly, however Emilie & Martin look to resolve issues very quickly.
Ecobubl is an excellent company to work with, Emilie & Martin are experts in the field and put the customer at the heart of their business. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

I contacted Ecobubl in February looking for assistance with my new build low energy home that will have an Air Source Heat Pump and Sunamp.

Martin scheduled a telephone call and said that he would be interested and offered to look at the rough schematics I had drawn.
Unfortunately this never happened.

Since then, I have politely emailed a couple of times and also called and left voicemails.

If the job/work isn't suitable please have the decency to apologise and bow out.

'Ghosting' isn't what I was expecting.

I found ecobubl via their youtube video guides when looking for reviews on the Givenergy battery systems. They were quick to respond to my enquiry, very helpful and the best value of the suppliers that provided a quote. Delivery and installation went smoothly with the friendly and professional contractors employed to install the solar panels, inverter, zappi and battery system. Sarah ensured that the commissioning was thorough and I was happy before they left site. I am happy to recommend them.

We are trying to do the right thing and reduce our carbon (CO2) footprint. Solar PV. An electric car. We had also improved the fabric of our 20 year old bungalow with more loft insulation and triple glazing. We heated by oil, so that seemed the next step.
I had been prompted by an advert for a hybrid heating system. This means keeping the oil boiler, but adding a smaller air source heat pump (ASHP) to cover 80% of the heating & hot water needs. In this case it was an 8kW Samsung ASHP - it was cost neutral over 7 years. But i wondered why not install a bigger ASHP and eliminate the oil boiler completely? The advertising company did not offer this as an option, so I started investigating alternative installers.
I probably had discussions with 10 different companies. I watched a lot of YouTube videos. I joined forums and discussed options. Most installers wanted to swap loads of radiators & change the pipework drops from the loft to radiators - this was a no no.
But Ecobubl and Martin Perrin (their Technical Director) were different. Ecobubl undertook an MCS heat demand and heat loss assessment. This was based on me providing home build details, radiator sizes and home upgrades. They felt putting a buffer tank between the ASHP and the radiators. And picking the Daikin Altherma 3H HT (High Temperature) 18kW ASHP would meet the heat demand assessment. At a reasonable cost.
There would be an internal unit. And a new hot water tank - they proposed a matching Daikin tank. I'd seen details of a relatively new "intelligent" hot water tank from a company called Mixergy. Ecobubl were more than happy to incorporate this into the solution - no cost increase!
We did a video call to walk around the home to show any issues. And Martin undertook a Covid safe visit to finalise the design and costs.
The thing that gave me confidence in Ecobubl was Martin's knowledge, how quickly the team responded to questions or phone calls and their positive comments about the Daikin ASHP. I'd looked at many different ASHP makes - there is very little back to back comparisons (when compared to car, technology or even white goods reviews). Thus you rely on the installer views to recommend a make of ASHP. And why. You need to question different installers as to why they recommend one over another. And this is where Ecobubl gave me confidence in Daikin and in themselves. They answered my questions. I tested the price and it seemed reasonable.
All the above happened through January and February 2021. And here we are in late April and the installation has been completed by Ecobubl. They did a tidy job. Tuesday to Friday working. Covid safe. Martin had to return for an half day this week to make an update to the Mixergy hot water tank - they had supplied an incorrect part. All good.
It is VERY early days in what I hope to be a very reliable, similar cost to the oil boiler, but with a much lower CO2 impact. Daikin offer a fixed annual price service an warranty for 10 years - this was important to me. Ecobubl are on hand to offer advice and support. Ecobubl helped me though applying for the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) government grant.
This pays for 75% of the costs. And Mixergy have been very helpful with their tank which sits on the internet and allows me to control the amount of hot water from an app.
Thus a 5* review. I need to keep this updated and feedback about ongoing service. Thank you Ecobubl
