ECL were great for helping me get back into employment after my previous contract ended. Right from the start Mel was very patient and understanding of my circumstances which I really appreciated, I was able to secure a position quicker than I thought too, would definitely recommend!

Wendy and reece have been really helpful, dispite how unusual my methods of doing things can be, they are both kind and know exactly what they are doing. This is a great service.

My mother has been attending ECL Highfields Chelmsford every week. She loves going and the ladies who work there are fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble and they are so kind and caring. This is the first time she has attended anything like this and it has helped her confidence hugely. I will always be grateful.

Hannah has so much patience with my rather avoidant 19 year old! I feel that without her support, my young person would not have come out of her bedroom, so the fact that she is now travelling into town, volunteering in a charity shop and interacting with people she doesn’t know is a positive indication that she is able to develop her independence. Without Hannah’s support this would have seemed an impossible task.

As a person with Autism, I've often found looking for employment a difficult task.
But thanks to Hannah and the Autism employment team at ECL, I've been about to excel in area that I otherwise would have thought impossible, from interview prep and job searching to learning cover letters and buzzwords.
I highly recommend their services and I am confident that if I didn't have them in my corner, I wouldn't have my current job at all.
Cheers, Hannah

Richard and his team were our saving grace for my 19 yr old son who had been let down by the school system for not achieving level 4s in GCSE’s which stopped him getting any apprenticeship or jobs. ECL where so helpful and thorough with my sons needs and wants and I really couldn’t recommend their services enough. Thank you ECL

ECL have been great in helping to find my daughter her first paid job.
Lisa, her consultant, is very warm and friendly and made us feel at ease. She is very professional and helped to write a CV, apply for jobs, attended the interview and arranged for support for the initial shifts to help her settle in.

ECL
In person meetings, rather than phone calls or emails.
Quick response from ECL in arranging and carrying out initial screening discussion.
First meeting with Inclusive Employment consultant was just over a week later.
I liked the idea of being a Green-keeper. I got the idea whilst watching some videos on ECL’s website about a previous client of ECL.
Inclusive Employment Consultant - Mark
My Inclusive Employment Consultant and I work well together.
They attended my Job Seekers Allowance (JSA) meeting at the Job Centre.
Took me on a CV drop tour to local golf clubs. This included introducing me and ECL to the golf club staff.
They introduced me to and hosted discussions with staff at Essex County Council who co-ordinate accessible apprenticeships.
I’m currently working at a local golf club as a trainee Green-keeper on a three-month contract.
Given me hope and something to work towards.

Our team have recently been working with Ian to help a lady we support to improve her skills and make her dream become a reality. It has not been easy, but, with Ian's patience and persistence we are definitely on the way to make some of her goals become a reality. We still have a little way to go but with his determination, ideas and thinking outside he box, I truly believe she will get the happy life and the feeling of importance that she longs for. I can't thank you enough for the support you have given us and her.

When I started working with ECL I was working in an extremely stressful job and feeling overwhelmed.
Kelly’s support made all the difference in not only helping me find a role that's perfect for me but supported me through the interview process as well.
She helped me find a new job within a small team who are extremely supportive and I now look forward to going to work and feel a lot less stressed.
I wouldn’t have done nearly as well without the support from ECL Inclusive Employment.
I highly recommend ECL.

I want to thank ECL for their expert care of my brother. Kim Martin, Trusted Assessor, steered us through all the steps toward establishing what we needed to do and the help we could have from other bodies. Gabriella Twine provided enormous support in guiding my brother through complex application procedures for support. Ashley, the Occupational Therapist, has made weekly visits that have greatly aided my brother's recovery: she has encouraged him towards activity and engendered real positivity and determination. Her very real expertise and tips have been very, very useful indeed. The carers have all shown real patience, empathy, and professional skill in caring for my brother since his discharge from hospital. I should particularly like to thank Sara from Corringham whose unassuming endless good humour and common sense were welcomed by my brother. I cannot thank ECL enough for all the help that has been given. Regards Elaine.

The staff that come into your home are undervalued, they are all amazing.
The people who sit behind a desk, trusted assessors and area managers are rubbish. Be prepared to be told and not heard. This service is run so poor in the office. The staff who come and visit patients to support and reable are amazing. The planners and trusted assessors and managers are all poorly trained and have no common sense or compassion. Be prepared to be treated like a toddler

The support that our son has received through the inclusive employment service has been excellent. Jack our consultant has been amazing with him and a really good match totally understanding his needs profile and personality. We are feeling very positive about the opportunities that this service will open up for him. Thankyou for all your hard work supporting our son.

My dad has only been going to the day care centre for a short while , he has dementia sadly and we were concerned how he would feel and settle in initially, thankfully all of the staff are very welcoming , friendly and chatty , he loves it . I have nothing but praise for them , Kirsty who was our first point of contact when we were thinking of trying ecl was knowledgable and super helpful , along with Jess who we met on the first taster day , Annette , Lola and many others there show real car and enthusiasm for what they do , myself and my family are so pleased that my dad enjoys his Fridays there and long may it continue.
