1 month wait

If there was an option. For no stars if definitely put it in.... Been waiting on my Minecraft order for a WHOLE ASS MONTH got it on my birthday received emails saying its on its way only for customer service to say there was a faul/glitch in my order.... I was also told I'd receive updates but still nothing, Going to call in to get a refund because they just wasted my time ill never oder online again.

Disappointed

Disappointed
Bought an item over xmas for a gift and was told that it is faulty and had a look which it is and emailed that i should get back to the store and a replacement or reimbursement. But since its quite a drive for me to get back there + working long hours i've finally got there and was told its past its warranty even told them how about a store credit. Left my details and no reply from them. Cant be bothered anymore and will shop elsewhere.

Buy instore but never online!

The in-store service is good though generally a bit overpriced and average selection. But I have always had problems the few times I have been desperate enough to order from their online store as have others I have talked to about it. The customer service from the online team is TERRIBLE. Slow and useless replies. Lots of apologies but never offering any solutions to the problem. The only way to get a problem fixed in a timely and friendly manner is to go in-store. Honestly, it's like two different companies the experience you get between in-store and online shopping. If you need something only EB Games can offer you, go in-store.

DONT shop online with ebgames.

I ordered “NEW” games online on 2 different occasions, first game shows up, doesn’t have the DLC codes, next game shows up and isn’t the “edition” of the game that was purchased, it shows up as the default game. I contact the support, it takes them 1- 2 weeks to get back to me and they basically lie and say “the order was canceled and I was refunded if we couldn’t provide on the product” and that they “never have the intention to not provide on what they sell” so about 4 emails later of me saying “I didn’t get any refund and I literally HAVE the games” they finally ask “what was the order numbers” I give the order numbers, first order of the game with the dlc codes missing they say “we can’t find that order” so basically they just took my money and ran with that one, next game, they say “oh well we probably didn’t have stock just take it back to a local store” (paraphrasing)^ but they were happy to take my money and send me the wrong version of the game? but now it’s my fault and I have to waste my time and money to go to a store and TRY to get my own money back? And what proof would there really be? nothing is stopping them from sending the wrong products or products with content missing because they can always just blame the customer.

Terrible delivery service

they told me that my order was going to arrive in two days but they forgot to take it from the warehouse so I'm receiving it late for 20 days... thanks EB games.

Bad customer services and culture of…

Bad customer services and culture of BS.

Just purchased 2 controllers in 2 separate orders (same day). one was shipped and the other one was claiming to be restricted under lockdown when we know the rest of the country have no restrictions.
poor communication also.

Unresponsive

Purchased a game that was damaged on arrival. As there is no email address to contact, I used the website contact form. I recieved no response through this, so made a claim through Paypal. EB Games did not respond for several weeks, before offering a (poor) solution.

Poor customer service

Poor customer service, enquired twice but they haven't bothered to update me on the status of an order I made over 5 months ago, waiting for them to reply to my email for a refund on the deposit I made for that item as I am not longer interested in the item because of the lack of service, pathetic EB Games NZ.

Do not buy from this company

Do not buy from this company. Customer service is an unknown thing to them. My daughter pre ordered and pain in full couple of years ago for cyberpunk special edition. Receives basic one took ages for them to sort and send the special edition. Totally ignore calls and emails. Just do not bother with this useless company. I work retail an would be sacked if I treated customers how my daughter has been treated.
Look online and order from a reputable company where you actually receive what you purchased and they have good customer service.
Do not waste time and money with crap company.

Do not shop here!

Do not shop here. Preorder a game. Paid in full. They did not ship it. When I called them told “We will look into that. Also, sorry we don’t work on weekends so expect a call back on Tuesday.” No call-back. So, I call. One-hour queue time! Then get told “No news on that. Can you wait another 3 days?” Asked for refund got told “Your card has expired. You will need to come into a store for that. Also, the refund won’t be ready for 1 day.” Can’t even get a GOD DAM up a refund right. Can’t ship products on time or at all for what it seems.

I ordered off eb games

I ordered off eb games , l I paid 13.50 for shipping which is express shipping so it should have been here over night it had been a week and a half and it was still “processing”. I emailed them stating I want a refund This is ridiculous I’ll go elsewhere Another week later and all of a sudden my things aparently have been shipped off ,. Never again will I be ordering off eb games delivery’s 😡

Thank you EB Games, I got the toy I wanted today. Wolverine and Hulk 80th anniversary
2 pack. and finally levelled up my membership card to Level 3. Awesome staff, very friendly and welcoming. As a regular customer it is a great place to find and buy video games and toys (action figures and statues).

Just wanted to take the time to thank yous for the awesome service we received we waited so long from Noel leeming for a PS4 console it took more than a month an we still hadn’t gotten it so we ordered from yous an got it in less than a week. Thank yous so much I will definitely deal with yous from now on an will praise you guys any where possible

Do not do transfers

Do not do transfers, which I think is crazy. There is an item I wanted but it’s all the way miles from where I live. I can’t travel there. I can’t find the item internationally or just any other website.

Woke up to package delivered.

I ordered a game during the afternoon of Monday 12 February. I thought my order was going to be delivered to my doorstep on Thursday because I live in a rural town 1hr 30m away from Auckland. But to my surprise, I woke up the next day at 9:10am to the sound of a courier van on my driveway.
I didn't expect it to be delivered that fast.
