Very bad experience with EasyPark

Parked in central Århus Denmark, paid with Easypark, get parking ticket to the amount of 650 kr. Apparently the gps function in the app is not accurate and therefore I have used the wrong area code!
No help from EasyPark. As other users have experienced their only answer is that it is the users responsibility to use the right code. I can only recommend NOT to use this app, it is useless.

I'm sorry to read that you have recieved a fine.

When you become an EasyPark customer, it is accepted by establishing that the individual has read and understood our terms. Here it appears that ultimately, the parking lot's responsibility is ultimately to ensure proper parking. If there is a definite error in the mapping, EasyPark takes the blame, but in this case the card at the mentioned parking has been correctly mapped.

The map in app function get's it's signal from your phone. The map in app function is out of EasyPark's control. This is why it's so important to make sure that the sigange is the same has the info in the app.

I usually don't to reviews but there…

I usually don't to reviews but there was extra effort from Easypark DK to settle my case and I decided that it has to be rewarded.
I did park for 8 hours in the area where is the price cap (like 7 or 10 hours do cost the same) and was late for 10 min so my booking via Easypark had expired.
I got a 650 DKK ticket in these 10 min and technically they we right - I did not have any parking booked during these 10 min.
Big thanks to Nico who is EasyPark Danmark employee to fix it up and going extra mile in customer services.

charged me for time I didn't park

I did pay for the time I parked, however the GPS apparently located the wrong number, so you fined me for not applying the right number- I find it hard to understand that Easypark has not experienced and addressed this problem earlier, so that your customers get fined when they are actually using your app in good faith, trusting that your product can actually deliver what you promise - or that you correct it when it appears.

It appears that you have parked a spot that charges per. started hour.

EasyPark does not decide the prices in the different parkingspots as we do not own them. It is the P-operators who report the prices to us. However, you are welcome to call us on this number +45 70221208 (we have open weekdays from 08-19 and Saturdays 08: 30-15) or send an email with a receipt for your parking to info@easyPark.dk and we will investigate if you have been charged for more than you shoul. If this is the case. Then we will give you our money back.

I got a ticket even if i paid my…

I got a ticket even if i paid my parking :) When Ive called they said that is not there problem that the app is finding a wrong location...
It should be my problem that you guys don’t know to develop an app? Or maybe you just don’t want to fix it so you can get money for nothing.
Very disappointed and I would not recommend it.

I'm sorry to read that you have recieved af ticket. The only thing EasyPark is trying is to make parking easier. It is your responsibility to make sure that your parking in the app is 100% correct.

It's not because EasyPark doesn't want to take responsibility. The app is made with the GPS function to help people around the world to park. All though this is really smart the app gets it's GPS signal from your phone. This is why we can't take responsibility for the GPS function. We can't change the fact that the GPS signal comes from your phone.

We would like to give you your money back for the parking price. Please send an email to info@easypark.dk.

Errors with the APP= You pay the fine

I parked my car and started the parking on the app like I always do. Because of technical problems with the app, the parking was not valid and I got a fine of 510 kr.
I wrote to kundeservice and they have refused to take responsibility for their technical error.
Basically you can use this app, but if the system fails, YOU pay.
Very disappointing.

This is certainly not the meaning of the app. The only thing EasyPark wants it to make it easier for people to park.

I can't tell from what you have written here, when and where this parking took place.

Please send an email to me on info@easypark.dk with a picture of the fine. Please write Att. Lykke P in the subject spot.Then I'll look into your case with a technician and see if there where any isusse with the app on the given day. I'm sure my colleague already did this. But there isn't any harm in dobbelt checking.

So easy

Very easy and surely a super convenient system
It can be a bit of challenge for tourists or people without a smartphone. They can't pay for their parking
