From Anne Roberts

From Anne Roberts
I bought some items from easy life to the value of £39-98. On the 16th October.
These items were on today’s bank statement.
Two days later on the 18th of October the amount of £16 -99 was also taken out my account by EASYLIFE without my permission.
The sales person on the 16th oct. tried to sell me something and I kept saying I could not hear what he was saying and he was not to take money out of my account, other than what I had just bought As pensioners we never do transactions of this nature by telephone unless planned in advance.
For obvious reasons.

However it is clear now that what this £16-99 was all about.
Surely this is illegal and both my husband and I are 82 years and our health is not so good and do not know what steps to take to retrieve the money.
That’s my experience with EASYLIFE.

I AWAIT REMBURSEMENT

The company that makes it impossible to return items …

Wanted to return item so called easylife customer Service and paid £5 for return collection. Was promised a prepaid return address label will be posted and collection date booked but label never arrived and no courier came to collect parcel.
Called again and they again promised to post label and booked Courier in again.
Label came and had Collection date which had expired two months previously!!
Called again and asked them to email return label so I could print it off myself and confirmed again the delivery date.
WAITED IN ALL DAY AND NO ONE CAME TO COLLECT MY PARCEL!!
Terrible customer Service and impossible to return items.
A scam company

Not very easylife

I needed to return an item and paid Easylife £5 to arrange collection. The parcel was collected by Hermes but, when I rang to ask about my refund, Easylife say they haven't received the package. They won't give me a refund unless I give them a number on the Hermes blue card .. . which was never given to me. I won't buy from them again

Never ending phone calls

I once bought something from them and they have never stopped bombarding me with phone calls. I plead with them to stop. They don’t. I block every number they ever use but they just keep calling from but from different numbers. Is there any way to stop them. Surely this is illegal? I hate them.

Awful bunch

Awful bunch. I've been harrassed and preyed upon on a daily basis since I made the mistake of giving them £20 worth of my business.
9 different phone numbers, each one blocked. They've tried to call me twice today and have been blocked - I fully expect a call tomorrow from a completely new number.
I'm far younger and less vulnerable than their target audience - clearly age is no barrier and it is obviously seen as an advantage to this bunch of crooks. Steer clear - please!

Hounded by phone calls

I placed an order over 12 months ago for a bird box. After I received it, I've been bombarded with phone calls from them. They are a complete nuisance. I've told them to take my details off their system to which they say "certainly we won't bother you again" then they call within days. Doing my Swede in :(

Scammers

I have just been checking my 90 year old mother's bank statement and noticed a £70 debit from 1st October. I asked what she'd bought - she said she hadn't ordered anything. She said she'd been bombarded with calls asking her to pay a subscription but she told them each time 'No thank you'. She is recovering from a heart attack and she certainly doesn't need stress. Shame on you Easylife for cheating elderly, vulnerable customers.

Be warned about Easylife.

Be warned about Easylife.
Be warned Easylife are practising dodgy acts of business. I received a recent unsolicited call from them about signing up to some sort of rewards club, having previously made purchases.

Be warned about Easylife.

Be warned Easylife are practising dodgey acts of business. My wife received a recent unsolicited call from them about signing up to some sort of rewards club, having previously made purchases
from the company. She made it very plainly clear she was not interested. Next thing an unauthorised payment €1.99 was taken from our bank account by them. She contacted them and requested the money was refunded and confirmed we were NOT interested in signing up to anything and also requested our bank details we're removed from their system. The money was refunded, but today a further unauthorised £69 had been taken from our account by Easylife. We are very angry and will be contacting them again and potentially reporting them to the bank and Police for carrying out fraudulent acts.

Would like to give minus stars, it would be 10 +

Would like to give minus stars. Worse company I have ever had the misfortune to have dealt. Ordered one thing now am being bombarded with catalogues and phone calls telling me if I don’t fill in the form I will automatically be made a member and the money will be taken from my card. Have told my card provider and they will not pay it. I want them to stop harassing me

Terrible company

Terrible company. I purchased one thing from them and now am plagued by calls.
I then received a rewards card from them on 7th September telling me I had 14 days free trial ending on (yes) 7th September.
Also that they had taken the first fee from my registered card.
Thankfully I got in quickly with Internet banking and cancelled my card.
Their rewards letter and card I have now sent back as return to sender. Now they will have to pay the postage.

My parents ordered a product where it said pack of 2 get 1 free the free 1 never arrived my parents phoned but no joy I tried but they told me I need power of attorney to ask a question about an order They have not got an account with the company they just order items occasionally. What I con and what a way to get out of it, making it impossible to ask a question.
Never use this company it is false advertising. My catalogues will now go straight back to them.
