A 41+% drawdown since April 2025. Equity reduced to less than half of what my account says. Account that moves back and forth a few dollars daily says $24,460, equity says $14,150. Called to find out... See more

EFX Algo provides structured, rules-based trading technology designed for individuals who want greater clarity, control, and discipline around how capital is deployed. We work with entrepreneurs, business owners, and investors who prefer systems over speculation, and who value transparency, defined risk parameters, and decision-making frameworks over hype or short-term promises. EFX does not take custody of client funds. All trading activity runs inside accounts owned and controlled by the user, with clearly defined rules, visibility into performance data, and the ability to start, pause, or stop at any time. Our focus is not on predicting markets, selling financial advice, or guaranteeing outcomes. Instead, we help clients evaluate whether a rules-based, automated approach fits their goals, risk comfort, and expectations—before relying on it as part of a broader capital strategy. EFX emphasizes education, evaluation, and long-term alignment. Many clients begin with a structured evaluation period to better understand how the technology behaves in live market conditions and whether it belongs in their portfolio. As with all market-based strategies, trading involves risk and is not suitable for everyone. We encourage prospective clients to ask questions, take their time, and make decisions they feel confident standing behind.

I was a client of EFX Algo for an extended period and ran multiple live accounts. Initially, performance was strong, which led me to increase capital over time.
Unfortunately, both accounts entered prolonged drawdowns that lasted close to a year. During this period, there were no clearly defined exit criteria, time stops, or transparent recovery plans provided. Risk management relied heavily on patience rather than predefined invalidation points.
As the drawdown persisted, I reached out to both technical support and directly to the owner to request guidance on a structured, risk-defined exit. Despite previously responsive communication, I received no reply at the time it mattered most.
Ultimately, I made the decision to fully close all positions on my own to protect remaining capital. While market conditions can always change, the lack of transparency, accountability, and communication during a critical period was disappointing.
This may work for some during favorable market cycles, but prospective clients should clearly understand the drawdown behavior, risk structure, and what level of support to expect when performance deteriorates.

I've been with EFX Algo for years and wanted to share a bit of perspective.
I get why some people are frustrated right now, long drawdowns are tough, especially if you're newer to automated trading or expecting smooth, steady performance.
This past year has been a challenging market across the board.
What's kept me here is that EFX has always been clear about risk, process, and long term discipline.
They didn't disappear when things got hard and they haven't changed their message just to make people feel better short term.
Automated systems aren't easy emotionally, but that's kind of the point.
They're built to remove emotion, not cater to it. In my opinion, a lot of the negative reviews come from short-term reactions rather than a long-term view.
I am still here because I trust the system, the team behind it, and the way they've handled themselves over the years.

This review makes me sad to write. Scroll down to see my previous, premature glowing review. Year 1 returns were great! Communication was great. Community was active. I did notice some scrubbing of any comments that weren’t favorable but they usually privately addressed concerns via DM. Now? They barely talk with us (an occasional announcement) after silencing the entire community for months when poop hit the fan. They QUIETLY changed the risk and reward expectations AFTER signing up and didn’t bother telling anyone. Originally, Aggressive profile was 5%+ per month average return with a MAX HARD STOP at 35% DD. Now, aggressive REWARD says 3-5% (mine is 1.5%) and risk is 45%. So less reward and more risk while they continued to charge more and more and more. To make things worse, the MYFXbook link for their Octane account that they used to sell to us no longer is active. They apparently don’t even use the bot to run their account anymore. Doesn’t sound good that they don’t use their own product anymore. Since Octane they created 2 other more expensive bots- US02 and XGB. They don’t even market Octane anymore and won’t change everyone over for free if XGB is the superior bot. Look up those on myfxbook. Not performing well for $10k-20k price tag. I 100% truly once believed in the EFX team in the beginning. My previous review was honest and heartfelt at the time but honestly…WAY TOO EARLY to do it. Most bots perform well in first 6 months. But they DM all new customers asking for reviews and we are excited and do it. You can assume that all 5 star reviews are new customers, family and friends and all 1-2 star reviews are after the bots true average performance has kicked in after a year. This is NOT a scam company. I don’t think they set out to lie to people and rip them off. I think money got the best of them (we got a survey asking if we wanted to hear about other investment types/opportunities) and making millions off sales and monthly licensing fees ($97-297/mo) drove the “next big thing” instead of keeping one bot to continuously optimize to current market conditions. As a trader, one of the founders would have told you strategies have to be re-evaluated time to time. Octane does not appear to be optimized or monitored. Just yesterday GOLD was traded which everyone knows is highly volatile. 2 years and gold was never traded before. No warning. No explanation. I had a 4.38 LOT size trade on accounts we were told were micro trades (that trade lost) Many people are stuck over 35% dd (as high as almost 50) and I am personally stuck around 31% (for 9 months now) They will tell you it isn’t a realized loss, which is technically true but what good is balance gain if equity continues to drop and you can’t withdrawal without making those losses realized. They silenced unhappy clients for months, they have ceased the regular communication and EDUCATION they were once known for (and promised would resume back in September) The ONLY PLACE they respond is here at trust pilot because they are trying to save face and reputation. They don’t actually engage with private community much anymore. They constantly upped the price and charge high monthly fees when performance is very poor. My friend that I referred is hoping to escape at break even after 2 years. Many are taking their losses and pulling their funds. We used to have access to the results of all accounts so we could see how everyone was doing. They stopped that when big losses happened and people left. Transparency is gone. Trust is gone. Original sales and marketing materials have been scrubbed. I made a GREAT profit the first year. Second year I gave 75% of that back in losses/DD. Now I’m just HOPING the bot can recover from 30% dd without transferring that into a realized loss so I can take my money and take a break. We have no way of knowing if they are doing anything to make this better. Probably best to STAY AWAY from all EFX bot products. The creators/owners took their money and ran. Disheartening because I thought the owners were better than that. But…check US02 and XGB accounts on myfxbook to see for yourself. OCTANE poor performance. Us02 poor performance. XGB average with new accounts. I fully expect a cookie cutter response here like to every other honest review. Just know, they don’t bother addressing issues in private PAID community. Only where public might see and it hurt their rep.

The guys in this company are the greatest to work with. I need a lot of hand holding. They helped me every step of the way. This product is just one other way i am investing in and it is performing above and beyond my expectations. The team is ethical and responsive and that puts me in a positive mindset waking up everyday knowing that i can trust these guys. Excellent experience guys. Thanks. Jim
They figured out the problem and resolved it quickly.
So far 2 months in I’m up 7.8%, drawdown is at a little over 2%. What I like about XGB is it doesn’t hold positions open longer than a day in most trades. I own EFX octane and it has not performed well since April 2025 when the tariffs went live and still has not recovered. I choose to stay with EFX because I believe in the team and the fact that XGB doesn’t hold positions open much longer than a day is why I made the purchase.
I acquired an EFX XGB bot in the middle of 2025. The bot has performed very well.
And the EFX team is knowledgeable, helpful and very responsive to queries. And commited to your success.
They are a major part of my strategy for financial independece.
Thanks guys!
trying to cancel this and get a refund. non of the phone numbers I have work and no one answers the email address I have.
I've lost over 12000 and they charge me monthly for maintaining this.
Give your money to a 3 year old and let them do what ever because these guys are not the answer.
they say I don't exist, ok,
go to myfxbook user name DukeNukem
I wish I could post that actual data here.
It claims I've gained 14% when actually I've lost over 13,000 dollars and they're still charging me monthly.
No one answers any calls. They're thieves..
DON'T GET THIS.

invested 30k December 2024. after losses of the gains i saw from April 2025 i decided to take matters into my own hands today after trying to contact my sales guy, onboarding guy, and customer support all I got was silence/ignore for the last 10 days and again in the past 72 hours.
HORRIBLE customer service. a 5 min phone call would have probably saved me $8000.00 today since I closed out all of the GBPUSD trades. (my fault for not knowing what the heck i shouldn't be doing) EFX ALGO customer service in my opinion after they have your money is NON EXISTENT.
DONT get involved unless you have some experience with this technology and trade mechanics. I wish this was more favorable but i can't recommend EFX ALGO at this point. DO your due diligence and shop other Algos. SAD that most of the 1-star reviews are RECENT.
UPDATED REBBUTAL to EFX ALGO response to my 1 star review:
This rebuttal from EFX ALGO is nothing more than copy and paste in an attempt to discredit me. I find it fascinating/suspect/misleading they don't seem to have any records of my name and yet month after moth they charge my credit card for my subscription to use their Algorithm. MyfxBook will verify that i have an account and paid EFX ALGO to open the account/ PURCHASE THE LICENCE for $17,800 in 12/2024. i can provide last month's transaction number (to pay for my subscription) if someone wants to challenge me. Don't be misled...I can prove I have done business and continue to do business monthly with EFX ALGO...can they prove that i don't have an account??? Come on EFX ALGO, let's see who can produce verifiable evidence and who can't. your move EFX ALGO. At this point you owe me an apology for defamation, by throwing my testimony on this platform into question.

Unbelievable, this company has positive reviews! In April I paid 25 grand them for their "supposed" AI Algo Program and put 100K into the account. Lost 10 grand immediately, no one ever answered the contact persons phone I was given and never heard from them again. Beware!

I’ve been in EFX for 2 years now and very happy to be part of it , they are transparent and provide excellent customer service, I am happy with the return of my investment which I was skeptical at first since I don’t have any idea or heard of Algo investment before. Thank you EFX. This is not for everybody like any other investments but I would suggest to get a thorough research if you want to consider this.
Started with EFX in Aug-2024, I did like the forum features, and open communication with customers. But in April 2025, everything changed, the algo started to make bad decisions, driving high draw down, they shut down the forums as everyone “freaked out”, they didn’t communicate much, but just explained the recovery phase. As of Dec-25, we haven’t recover any of the DD, still in the same boat, they opened up the forum again but the team is trying now to sell different products instead of fixing the existing one.

Been using the algo for 2 years now and while I understand the ups and downs of the market which can yield positive and not so positive result, I can't fault the company for the drawdown situation and I am actually impressed with how they are dealing with everything and how their support is working tirelessly to go back as a year ago. Overall I am a happy client.
Pushing 30 days since the end of my 90-day trial. ('0' profits - 1K loss during the trial). Still no direct contact from their accounting dept - if there even is one. Their Managing Partner claims 'they've had a lot of inquiries' as the continued excuse for no contact nor return but thanks me for my patience. Legit company or bait and switch? Unfortunately, looks like I have to get my attorney involved.
Started out well, but after April 1st this year 2025 the algo tanked and has never recovered, been waiting months now for it to return, lost over 30% of the value, not a good performing Algo for the up front money, there are way better performers for less money, lesson learned. Also disappointed they had open conversations for investors until things got bad then they shut them down. They do have good responsive support, so the extra star is for that, but the algo is a bust.

Boy I was sure rooting for this to work. It just hasn’t performed. Their monthly fees and their guarantee is focused on your account balance, and not on the equity in your account. Unlike with a brokerage account, with Forex Trading, your account balance is NOT an amount that can be withdrawn. Open losing trades pull down your balance to what is referred to as your “equity” balance. Your monthly fees and the EFX money back guarantee is based on a number that is not really a liquid amount. I am 17 months in with EFX and have spent over $15,000 in license and monthly fees. My equity balance is less than my original deposit. Such a missed opportunity with dashed hopes.

I’ve worked with the EFX team for months and have been consistently impressed by their responsiveness and transparency. From onboarding to day-to-day support, they set clear expectations, communicate proactively, and make it easy to see what’s working and what’s being improved. When we’ve had questions, they jump in quickly with real answers and data, not canned replies.
What stands out most is how outcome-focused they are: testing, iterating, and sharing updates so we always know where things stand. It feels like a true partnership. If you value clear communication, fast support, and a team that owns results, EFX is a strong choice.

The EFX team went above and beyond to make sure I had a good experience. No company can guarantee returns, but EFX does everything they can to reasonably help you succeed. When tariffs hit, they did their best to help customers get through it. Integrity is a rare find in this industry. You can trust these guys.

I have been part of the EFX community for quite some time and I can say with confidence that the EFX team genuinely cares about their clients above all else. They have strong values and a clear commitment to transparency. These are qualities that are extremely rare in this specific industry full of people who are only selling dreams. Thankful for EFX and looking forward to a bright journey ahead!
